We ordered three different signature sushi rolls and they were honestly 10/10. Everything tasted fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and each roll had great flavor. You can definitely tell they focus on quality.
For appetizers, we had the fried octopus. It was really good — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside — and the sauce that came with it complemented it perfectly.
For dessert, we ordered the coconut flan, but when it arrived at the table we realized it wasn’t exactly what we were expecting. That was really the only small issue we had.
I also ordered a lychee martini and didn’t love it. I’ve had the same drink at another Mamsushi location and it was much better there, so maybe it was just an off night.
In total, we spent around $200 for two people.
Overall, it’s a good place to go, hang out, enjoy great sushi, and spend time with friends. I would definitely go back.
Seated quickly even though we were earlier than our reservation. Staff were attentive and accommodating, seemlessly making space for our wheelchairs. ♿
Appealing restaurant ambiance with great art on the walls. The food…omg the food. So many things to choose and something for everyone. ️
Had the grilled octopus and it was divine….charred in the right places and tender. Came with brussel sprouts, broccolini, and carrots….just Yummmm!
Had two rolls, with one having octopus in it (Yes, I love octopus). There were two different kinds of plantains and drinks. My choice lemonade sangria and a Pina Colada that came in a pineapple. It was delicious.
Yes, there was dessert. We got the platter which had strawberry shortcake, flan, tres leches and a hot chocolatey cake. Almost to pretty to eat.
Will go back to try other things and will definitely return for the Octopus! Thank you for eveything:
The service was good, the atmosphere lively and friendly. I got two traditional rolls, since I’m a sushi purist. I wasn’t impressed. Maybe the specialty rolls were better, but the idea eating a barbecue chicken sushi roll doesn’t appeal to me. My sister got the Korean Chicken and Yuca fries, which she said was good (the yuca fries were really delicious) my niece got a delicious looking order of Fish and Chips with Yuca Fries. She didn’t eat it. She said it was all batter and no fish. The girls liked their drinks (I wasn’t drinking) and my mocktail was ok.
The folks at the table next to us ordered a delicious looking fried rice with an egg on top and tostones. Next time I visit, I won’t get the sushi.
The service this time was incredibly frustrating. I only wanted one specific entree, but the server insisted I had to order from every category (appetizer, dessert, etc.), which would have cost $60. I explained that I couldn’t eat that much and didn’t want to take leftovers given my past “trauma” with their food. Even so she still told me it was going to cost me $60 even if I ordered one dish.
As a way to help, the server said she’d “check with the manager” and then completely ghosted me. She attended to every other table and never came back. I just got up and left.
Go for the party vibes and the music (it’s actually great). I won’t be coming back here.
