Not too busy in here. It is always the best food ever. Always go for their special the sweet pork (barbacoa?). The workers are always friendly and some of them have worked there for years. Tuesdays there are cheap tacos. Wish this was a nationwide brand.

Like chipotle, but better tasting. The service was meh but the food made up for it. I had the pollo asada burrito and it was HUGE. Very tasty and the guacamole was good too. Got the horchata – the free refills were a nice bonus. My biggest complaint was the bathrooms were locked with a pin pad and no instructions on how to get a code or anything. A little frustrating that after my meal, I couldn’t easily use the restroom.

I place an order for 3 salads today
They were poorly prepared a lot of items were missing and the the tortilla didn’t have the cheese melted it’s so disappointing bc we were at work expecting to eat what we had order but the worse part when I call the person on the phone didn’t offer an apology or say sorry just told that I have 2 choices going back and get whatever was missing or have some credits on the app. Working in the food industry I know that’s not the way to handle mistakes

A better Chipotle. You won’t be disappointed. The staff is amazing. They really care about the people they are serving. I’ve been going there for years and love the food and the staff at this location to the point I have a very positive impression of Cafe Rio as a whole.

Went here on Taco Tuesday. Advertised special was $2.69 for shredded meat tacos. They charged me $1.50 each taco for cheese!! I can see 50 cents, but $1.50tor a sprinkle of shredded cheese?? What a ripoff!!

Walked in and identified myself a as new customer at the counter. *crickets* I told the lady I wanted to try the Pollo Asada burrito. She started to plop things in my burrito that I didn’t want and she had to remove, cheese. She covered my burrito in enchilada sauce. Why on earth?? ♂️ She barely said a word to me in the entire process. After I paid she left the register and I reached over and got my own receipt. Food was ok. Place was clean. Tortataco is right down the road off 118 and it’s has way better Mexican food and definitely customer service. Don’t think I will return and I would recommend just going to Tortacos.

I must admit; it was nice, the place was clean including the bathrooms, and the food was fresh. The staff were also helpful as well as kind to both my Beautiful wife and myself. We had gone to Cafe Rio right after a doctors appointment with our phenomenal acupuncturist Dr. Li. It made for a perfect couples evening of acupuncture and massage and then dinner on a more than average warm January night. My lovely wife loves Cafe Rio to the point of thinking about it enough to go to the restaurant at least once every couple of months because she says how much she loves the bread used in the dishes at Cafe Rio. I had the chili beef Tacos and she enjoyed the steak salad. My Wonderful wife also enjoyed a cinnamon flavored drink provided at Cafe Rio and I must admit; the cinnamon flavored beverage was nice. In conclusion; yes we Will definitely be back .

Used to visit this place when it opened and I remember it being good. Today, the staff was rude (all) and the food wasn’t fresh. Guac was brown, tomatoes in pico taste spoiled, rice/beans hard, and chicken was either over cooked or dried out. This explain why the place was empty during lunch time. Do better Cafe Rio.
