This place gets it right — great food, warm service, and inviting atmosphere.
I stopped in on a quiet weekday and was immediately greeted with a smile. The space has a clean, polished vibe with nice touches — a Roswell map, and that quote on the wall: “You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy brunch…” Well played.
I ordered the Harvest Hash & Eggs from the seasonal menu, and honestly, it deserves to be the poster child for the entire Fall Harvest board. Perfectly crisp potatoes, fresh spinach, creamy cheese, and that fried egg on top? It looked good, but it tasted even better. Rich without being heavy, balanced and flavorful — the kind of meal you remember the next day.
Service was friendly, attentive but not overbearing. They got the order right, timing was smooth, and the vibe stayed relaxed throughout. For a casual brunch spot, they hit all the right notes.
Music was tolerable.
Menus were very sticky and left on the table for the whole meal.
Lots of dust.
Again the waitresses are very friendly and do their job well.
If you’re looking for a quick bite it is a good place to stop.
The potatoes tasted like dry ice cubes with no seasoning at all, no salt, no pepper, just bland. I ordered the Cajun crawfish and shrimp omelette, and it was dry with rubbery edges, which made it hard to enjoy. All of our dishes came out lukewarm, closer to cold than hot.
My English muffin was barely toasted, so instead of that buttery goodness settling into the nooks and crannies, it just tasted like plain dough. The gumbo was watery and lacked flavor, like something essential was missing, maybe just the care and heat that usually make it great.
The bright spots were my spicy Mary, which was perfect and not watered down, and the Gouda grits, which had good flavor but would’ve been much better served hot instead of cold.
The waitresses were kind but a bit slow, and the table underneath was messy with menus and napkins. Since the restaurant wasn’t busy, I’m not sure why service was slow or why the food arrived almost cold.
I always look forward to eating at Another Broken Egg, so I was excited to find one in Georgia. Based on this visit, though, I can only give it 3.5 stars. Hopefully next time will be better when the staff puts their heart in it.
In the spirit of being in the South, I decided to go with the chicken and waffles. I have to admit, they were kind of a disappointment. Not that they were bad….I guess I was expecting something “WOW”, being in the south. It was more of a “hmmmmm. I’ve had better in the PNW”! The hot honey sauce was even a bit of a downer. Truly, kind of a boring, semi-flavorless dish.
The omelette my nephew got looked fabulous. So, maybe stay clear of the chicken and waffles and try something else. Did I already say the beignets were delicious?
I would definitely eat there again. I’d just order something other than the chicken and waffles.
Cook and Team work well together. You catch good vibes.
Olivia was really great!
