There’s not much to say about Haru, except that it’s simply the absolute best sushi bar you’ll find. The fish is always fresh, the service is excellent, and they’re always bringing in seasonal fish. There’s always a special, and their specials are always delicious. Huge shout out to Brian, Knox, and Erin! I love this place so much, I’m there at least once a week!

This sushi spot was such a great find! The restaurant was busy but still had a warm and inviting vibe. The staff were all incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. One of the best parts? The live music—it really added to the experience without being overwhelming.
As for the sushi itself, it did not disappoint. The fish-to-rice ratio was perfect, and the rice had a great flavor and texture—clearly made with care. The sashimi was fresh and melted in your mouth. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a lively, friendly spot with solid sushi and great ambiance!

This was a celebration meal for us and it did not disappoint. I have a shellfish allergy and our waiter made sure everything was made seperate and station was cleaned before our food was made and considering this is a shellfish environment it was greatly appreciated. All of the sushi was amazing and fresh. Our waiter brought out a special treat/dessert for our celebration and made it that ouch more special. While it can be a bit pricey 10/10 will be back here!

Haru is so charming! Located across the street from the ocean, it’s a beautiful spot with so many unique and fresh fish options for Japanese food lovers.
Our party shared a lot of dishes, being my first time there I wanted to sample as much as I could.
The service was fabulous. Our server was attentive, very knowledgeable and everything was served without much of a wait.
The dining area is beautiful. Elegantly decorated and very posh.
All of our fried appetizers were fantastic! Perfectly battered and fried with generous helpings of seafood and meat.
The sushi was very fresh and had a gorgeous presentation and the roll was huge! Again, very generous with portion sizes.
The Wagyu appetizer was phenomenal. Brought to the table with a small grill so you can prepare it how you like. So much fun too!
The Lobster bisque was out of this world.
My steak dish, as beautiful as it was, did lack a little bit of flavor and was overcooked. Being this is not a steakhouse and a place that focuses mostly on seafood and sushi, it was easy to overlook because everything else was so perfect.

My husband and I visited Melbourne for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. We don’t usually get to enjoy sushi, so we knew that we wanted to try Haru. It was a wonderful decision! We ordered a variety of specialty rolls – all exceptional, but the Cowboy roll… oh my goodness! Be sure to ask the server for the hidden menu items…truly a VIP experience! Thank you Haru for helping to make our anniversary trip memorable!

Came here for my anniversary and was very happy with my time here at Haru! Sushi so my absolute favorite food so I had to find some good sushi but my partner doesn’t eat seafood so I needed to make sure there would be something he would enjoy as well, this was the perfect spot. My server was very helpful and attentive and based off of what fish I liked said I should try the IndianAtlantic roll
And it was probably one of my top 5 best sushi rolls ever. It was so soft and melt in your mouth perfection. The tuna was very high quality and it was topped with yellowtail and some spicy sauce and a jalapeno. Absolutely loved it. I paired it with a spicy tuna handroll, also very good! My partner got a steak hibachi meal and the steak was marinated in a sweet teriyaki glaze and was very tender. Their vegetable miso soup was also very good. They had some live music with a Saxophone player and some piano and it wasn’t too crowded or loud for 4th of July. Definitely want to come back here again

Went with a party of 12 and they were very accommodating. Exceptional sushi and great service but they lose one star for atmosphere for the bar being the whole middle section of the restaurant contributing significantly to the volume, and lose another because the live music was a guy in a T-shirt with an electric saxophone doing ZZ Top covers at full volume the whole night. Baffling.
