Oh my gosh do I love this restaurant! The food is amazing and portions are huge. Everyone was friendly and the one employee came out to check if we liked the dessert because she made it. Like yes ma’am you did an amazing job! Only bad thing was that I waited too long to try it.

We stopped for a meal on our way through. Gloomy day outside, but the atmosphere inside was warm and inviting!
The boneless wings weren’t heavily breaded – they were lightly breaded chunks of chicken that were fantastic!
The chicken and waffles sandwich was perfect balanced, melty, and delicious!
The classic burger with Mac and cheese was also solid, even though we got it plain. Great all around small business – glad we stopped!

Attaboy’s is on another level. Hands down the BEST chicken and waffles around. We’ve been here numerous times and it has never disappointed—not once. The chicken is perfectly crispy, the waffles are unreal, and every bite is packed with flavor. On top of that, the service is consistently top notch—friendly, fast, and welcoming every single visit. Attaboy’s is one of those rare spots that delivers every time. Today we had a party of 4 – the price for meals, sodas and 2 desserts to go was less than $80. The portions are so generous, everyone had leftovers. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.

Stopped in to grab dinner while passing through Marion. Interesting place. Our server Billy was excellent. Very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The place has a laid back vibe with good music. The food was adequate for the price. The green beans and sweet potatoes were pretty clearly canned but the fried chicken and collard greens were very good. We had a pleasant evening here.

Oh my….the shrimp and grits out of this world. It was a bowl of deliciousness, comforting and medicinal. Plenty for a second helping at home!!! The collard greens I ate every bit of those while there, they are the real deal. Now I went all out and got the peach dessert to go. My suggestion is do not leave without the peach dessert made with love and real fresh peaches. This place beats chain food places to the ground. It’s amazing!!! I love good food and this at Attaboys is heavenly ❤️❤️❤️

Okay, now I have a favourite place in Marion to eat at. The food was just incredible. Who would have know I would have found authentic southern cooking up north? I had the catfish which was so good. We were a party of 10 and ordered a ton of food and it was $170 so not terribly priced. Either way it was worth it. The waitress was so nice even though it was so busy and stressed. Lovely place.

Cannot recommend this hole in the wall gem enough. Joy was a fabulous waitress and very attentive to the needs of our table (drinks, napkins, check, etc.). The boneless wings were incredible with homemade sauce. Their fried pickles and potato skins appetizers were fresh and delicious. We split strawberry and peach cobbler too—which were heavenly. I wish we lived closer to visit this darling vintage diner regularly. We’ll be back!

Atmosphere was welcoming.. Food was delicious and waitress went above and beyond. From out of town and love supporting small businesses and would definitely go back .. also the guy playing the piano was the topping on the pie!!

I popped into this Marion restaurant for a later weekday lunch (1:30-ish) and was promptly greeted & seated as only a few other patrons were present.
My waitress was both friendly and attentive making sure to suggest their burger & side specials for the day—which I had also seen on their social.
Meal came out in an acceptable time frame and the burger was delicious. While my side of mac n cheese was good, my guess is that it was re-warmed which dried it out a bit.
The waitress hinted to a final remaining serving of peach cobbler for dessert and, eventually, I twisted my own arm to order…and it was good.
Overall, I had a good experience and have been wanting to try this place out. Try it and I think you won’t be disappointed.

Had the grilled chicken con salad and the gumbo. Both were a nice size serving as well as the loaded fries. Price was good for the amount of food. Staff was friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere.
