Disappointing Experience Despite Good Service
While the service at Woody’s Bar-B-Q was friendly and attentive, unfortunately the food fell far short of expectations.
We started with corn on the cob, which arrived cold—so cold that the butter wouldn’t even melt. The fried corn was an improvement and at least served hot. My husband and daughter ordered the brisket, which was also cold and had a tough, beef-jerky-like texture. The baked beans were decent, but nothing memorable.
Our server recommended the mac and cheese, but sadly it tasted like it would have been better if it were boxed Kraft. My ribs were tough and chewy, nowhere near the “fall-off-the-bone” quality you’d expect from a BBQ spot.
Dessert was the most disappointing part. The “homemade” apple bread pudding came wrapped in Saran wrap and was clearly reheated in the microwave. It came out steaming on the outside but was dry and still cold in the center.
Overall, the food quality just wasn’t there. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

The Hawaiian burger is delicious. Love coming here for their cornbread and fried mushrooms. Their prime rib sandwich was amazing too, and reasonably priced! Service here is also very timely and welcoming, would definitely come back!

I had a pulled pork dinner with fries and Cole slaw. The fires were a perfect crispness, the coleslaw was creamy and slightly sweet just the way I like it. Pork tender and very lean. My waitress, Rene, was fantastic. She was courteous and on top of things. I told her I had a flight to catch and she made sure to get me out on time. She always had a smile and seemed happy to help us. Rene’s attitude and hospitality will make me return, that and good barbecue!

Rarely do I leave a negative review… So, yeah it’s bad. We ordered delivery through Uber Eats. I’ve been told by many that this place has “great BBQ”… I have to respectfully disagree. We ordered Pulled Pork BBQ sandwiches and got sliced, super dry pork. Not sure if they messed up the order or if they purposely false advertise sliced pork for “pulled pork”. I ended up just trashing the horrible sandwich.
Onion Rings are average, at best. Coleslaw was great, which is the only reason I gave a 2 Star. I’m very disappointed that we wasted money for this food. I don’t recommend this place.

Had a party of 6 and was seated promptly. Not a very warm welcome…but hey…we are there for the food. We hadn’t eaten here for a long time so we figured we would try them out again. Our server was very pleasant and patient as we needed a couple extra minutes the first couple times she came over.
There was a variety of food ordered and it was all really good….minus the green beans…everyone that got those, they were cold. But the meats were full of flavor and none of it was dried out. Everything was super yummy!

The app wouldn’t allow it, but the food deserved a ZERO. BBQ baby back ribs – if they’re cooked on-site and not precooked, frozen and shipped are NOT BBQed – they’re baked (no color, no smoke), pale and tasteless with numrous bone shards and fat globs that did not render out as properly BBQed ribs should be, drizzled with sauce that had no camamelization whatsoever. Potatoes tastle like instant with reconstituted dry packaged gravy. Beans, again, no smoke, no tang, just sweet enough to have for desert. We won’t be back.

Food and service was 5 stars. Delicious and great portions. My only complaint is the seating. A table for 4 people is a bit cramped, so expect to bump elbows while eating.

Really disappointed with this one. Thought it was going to be good but they messed up on all levels. The brisket is actually pretty dry. Not much bark and what little is there doesn’t have much flavor. The sauces are VERY bad. I didn’t like any; Carolina, their sweet, their hot, not good guys, not good.
The server basically forgot everything we ordered and I had to explain it again.
I honestly don’t see a point in giving them a second chance.
