Lunch rush is busy. Be sure to have a little time or patience. So worth it. Loved the NM Lotta burger along with crispy fresh onion rings and an amazing horchata milkshake. So worth it.

I’ve been eating at this location since I was a child and I’m 60 years old and I tried to call ahead. I got an automated service who sounded like a real person. After getting my order wrong I was connected with a real person who got my order right. I proceeded to the location and when I got there, they knew nothing of my order. The lady behind me said the same thing happened to her. Just why have a system if you have no system? And then there’s the “horchata shake”. It costs $5.19 and it’s a medium size drink which is okay if it really was horchata tasting. It tasted like a biscochito and had crunchy somethings in it and when I spit them out they were chex mix – I kid you not!!

Best Blake’s in Santa Fe! Very charming experience with the walk up window. I wish this location had breakfast burritos all day because they have the best breakfast burritos in town.

This drive-up counter is old-school deliciousness just waiting for you. They sell the most iconic green chili cheeseburger available, have fries that are on-point, and great milkshakes too. This is what good roadside food used to be and still is at Lotaburger.

Furthermore, this is an historic location that served generations of students at St. Catherine Indian School and was notably one of the only ‘excuses’ for being late back from town – ‘My lotaburger took too long’ – as everyone understood you couldn’t rush perfection – and the good Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament would allow a small amount of tardiness for this, but it might cost you some fries!

Arrived 5 minutes before they closed and instead of being treated with disdain (which id understand arriving when I did) I was given a big smile and great service. Food was quick and tasty, price is a bit high but for Santa Fe it seemed fair. Ill definitely be back.

I stood at the window for about 15 minutes when there was no one on line to order. A burger, fries, and rings. I can literally see through the holes in the meat paddy. It took forever as well. The rings are awesome.

This is an insanely good and unique fast food burger. Love the green chile, which is only very slightly spicy. The burgers are juicy, greasy and hit all the right fast food burger notes. The service was good (a bunch of happy teens) and we got our food fast. I will 1000% eat here every time I’m in NM and will probably get a few extra to bring back to NYC.

Terrible service. I waited more than 10 minutes for my order to be taken while the workers bought things from a homeless man. After taking money and things from the homeless man, they didn’t wash their hands. I asked to speak to their manager, and he just said, “It’s me,” which is the same person who provides terrible customer service. I left. I didn’t order my food. They are very rude. I don’t recommend that place. I will never return until they have managers with customer service experience.

I had the New Mexico Style Lota Burger and onion rings. The burger was good but I was expecting it to be really good. The onion rings were good and crispy. Plan to stop at this location again.

GREAT BURGER!! It’s better than typical fast food. Everything was fresh and delicious. I ordered the lotaburger with green chile which is a must. The seasoned fries were good and crunchy. The chocolate milkshake was good. They didn’t offer fountain drinks today. This location is typically busy and now I know why.
Nice staff, decent prices, good view of the mountains while eating in the (ample) parking lot. *It appears, after many visits now that they stopped offering bacon. I’ve also since tried regular fries and onion rings. I think the regular fries are the best but all are fine. This place seems to be so busy that they routinely don’t have something, be it bacon, drinks, a working frier etc. They are open until 10pm.
