PLEASE see the pictures, I paid “$25.00” for THIS!!! I asked for barbecue to be placed ON my fries at least two times, only to find NO sauce on them, the beef brisket/shoulder pieces were very small, thin & few, in A LOT of grease & hardly any barbecue sauce which was “thin”, way too small of a portion for the price paid & the wait time which was very long at 1:30pm. I thought things would be better since the last time I patronized which was quite some time ago due to the very high prices & small portions, I will NOT try again.

I’ve Been going to Ashley’s since I was about 7 or 8 years old.. I’m now 48. I ordered two of the turkey tip specials.. it came with fries and was about $40 dollars. I thought this was a bit over priced but I still wanted to support the business. The turkey tips were unseasoned and seemed OLD. The BBQ sauce was put on the side and it tasted like something out of your local grocer’s section…. Straight out the bottle. I arrived 10 minutes prior to opening hoping to get my food fresh… to no avail. For 19 dollars a dinner.. the portion of unseasoned meat could’ve at least been larger. There’s absolutely truth to the bad reviews. Beware before going. I won’t ever spend another dime here.

I have been going to Ashley’s since I was a teenager I’m 49 now and it seems they have speed queen syndrome charge more give less my shoulder dinner was so lite it was a third of what they use to give my wife’s rib tip dinner smoked way to long it tastes salty use to love this place when the father was around not now they suck won’t be returning for more bad food.

Came here to order rib tips for someone. The lady that helped is nice. They don’t provide receipts though. They’re a cash only restaurant. Although not providing receipts is odd. I don’t know how the food tastes. I’ve never had it and I have no interest. The place smells bad. It smells like a bunch of old men soaked in cigarettes, cigars, and years old upholstery. I don’t expect the place to be in top tier condition but it could certainly use renovations. Very bumpy/holey parking lot. And dusty/crumby interior. Just not my style so it doesn’t pique my interest at all.

I purchased a rib tip family meal for $53.00, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The meat was extremely tough, the coleslaw had an overwhelming amount of mayonnaise, and the baked beans were not flavorful at all. The restaurant also has a no-refund policy, which made the experience even more frustrating. I would not recommend spending your hard-earned money at this restaurant.

I looked up BarB Q on goggle. I chose Ashley’s . I ordered a mix combination of ribs and burnt ends and shoulder. It came with beans, potato salad and 2 slices of bread. I ordered fried okra also. I waited about 15 minutes for my order. This place is busy. The service was excellent and the food portion was well worth your money. I had some left overs for the next day. The taste was perfect. It’s a cash only operation they do have a cash machine there for you. Just to let you know again either order ahead or wait for little bit. They are busy. But we’ll worth the wait.

Rib tips were good, baked beans idk cold slaw.. didnt bother, mac was average, fish completely trash! It was crispy on the outside, but wet on the inside, a light skinned lady offered to remake it, but looking at all the sores on her arms that she attempted to cover with band-aids it was not happening! Get out of the kitchen!!!! Hate me, and my hub even stopped by. Last time, no biggie. But be careful where yall choose to eat and spend your money.

I came here being recommended by a few people but this wasn’t my cup of tea. My husband loves bbq and enjoyed his meal and ate my sandwich. My sandwich had cartilage in it and thats not my favorite. This was a nice little spot but just not for me. Other than that the staff were friendly!
