We had a mini cousin reunion today at Mayworths Public House. It was the perfect setting. The tables were set up , service was wonderful. We were able to visit with each other on both ends of the tables and enjoy time together without feeling rushed.

Unfortunately they were out of several beers and food dishes. My brisket sliders were sparse on the brisket and had probably 1 sliver of pickled onion each, but the brisket was absolutely delicious. My wife’s chicken sandwich was so dry and tough she had to cut the sandwich with a fork and knife to eat any of it, and it was clearly cooked in the same fryer as the fish. Cool spot with decent reviews. Beer was cold. Staff was very friendly. Maybe we caught them on a tough night just after the Christmas parade. Wanted to love it. Didn’t. After a 10 hour drive, very disappointed.

We had a great experience at Mayworth Public House! The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of upscale and laid-back pub vibes, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and nights out.
The menu features classic American favorites, and the rotating selection of local craft beers is a huge plus. We tried the parmesan truffle fries (crispy and full of flavor), the giant fish sandwich paired with a loaded baked potato, and the Brussels sprouts — everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious.
Portions were generous, flavors were on point, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a spot we’ll be returning to! ️

We Met some friends here on a Friday night for drinks. Cute spot! Reminded me of Cheers I had a baked potato and asked for brisket on top. It was fabulous!!

Overpriced and mid food. Ordered the Thai chili wings and the southern fried chicken sandwich or whatever – wings were BAD and not at all worth the price. Chicken was tough and hard to bite off a piece. Waited 50 mins for the food too! Baked potato crust was burnt, and I’ve had Kraft Mac and cheese that’s better than what they serve. Never coming back here again!

We were last there around month or two ago. Mayworths used to be my favorite restaurant but since the ownership switched over, maybe a year or so ago it has not been the same. The food used to be delicious and was large portions. Now it is fine, smaller portions, and much more expensive. The interior has always been very nice and comfortable but since the change it kind of looks like it was hastily redecorated for the worst. It looks like the middle high top table was spray painted and feels like that too. The service used to be fantastic but the last 4 or 5 times we’ve been there it has not felt as personable and has only been fine. The prices of all of the food have shot up and the portion sizes are smaller. It used to be a dollar to upgrade fries to truffle fries and the last time we were there it was $4!! I honestly hate writing this review because we used to go to Mayworths every Friday night as a family but the last 4 or 5 times we’ve been there I’ve been really disappointed. I kept trying thinking it would get better, maybe like it used to be but it’s too expensive now to keep trying without improvement. Hopefully things get better.

We visited last night with family and were so pleased! Great pub, cute area with a great neighborhood vibe.
Service was amazing, we were well taken care of. I had a small issue with temperature on my pasta dish, and the waitress took it back immediately and I found out she comped my meal. Who does that?
The food was great, too. Our table shared a pimento cheese dip that was so creamy and tart we had to order another. Chicken tenders were crisp and delicious. The waffle fries were crispy. The shrimp tacos lacked a little something, it needed crema or something as they were dry.
We ordered 3 desserts to share with the table, and though I’m not sure they are made in house (they looked so perfect) they were each very delicious and well made. Chocolate cake was rich and moist, the Tuxedo cake was a favorite with the chocolate cake base and the creamy cheesecake middle but my favorite was the spiced carrot cake.
All in all, a really great place to eat that I’ll gladly return to for a casual dinner.

I picked this random bar and it’s the right one. I walked in new and was completely comfortable. The barkeep Fanny knows exactly what she’s doing. Her drinks are fire. The Ruben sandwich is amazing as well. All the staff is completely cool.
