Haven’t been to this place probably since 2017?! Tried them again for lunch because they had great guacamole. This time ordered Nachos – they were delicious.
Was glad to see such a great presentation of them. Every nacho had the fixings unlike when you order nachos at other places and you get everything dumped on top of a ton of bare loose chips. They are very tasty and enjoyable. Thanks!

Plaza Azteca used to be our favorite Mexican spot, which makes this review really disappointing to write. My husband and I kept giving them chances despite declining service, but this last visit was the final straw.
We were seated and waited over 30 minutes for drinks we ordered right away — our food arrived before our beverages did. When we mentioned it to the server, there was no apology or acknowledgment. She then repeatedly walked past our table and we couldn’t get her attention for another half hour.
The food didn’t make up for it either. The steak was overcooked, the shrimp was overly salty, and the enchiladas were cold. For a $70 bill, this experience was unacceptable.
The only consistently good thing left is the tableside guacamole. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

The Texas Fajitas and chicken Taco Fajitas were good, the portion was generous, and the Micheladaa was good. The server was not friendly so much, but compare to many Mexican resturant around here this was one of the best.

First time here and it was great! Loved my sangria, tableside guac was perfect and enchiladas delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Will be back for sure.

The drinks were good and they had love guacamole station where they come and make guac in front of you.
All tables are served with free chips and salsa which is great.
The appetizers were pretty good, but the mains I felt could be a bit better.

This was my first time to Plaza Azteca and it did not disappoint. We went on New Year’s Day and the food was excellent. The cocktails were good although my husband‘s margarita did not taste like it had any tequila in it. My frozen House Margarita was excellent.

It’s been quite sometime since I had been here and I am SO glad I came back. Everything was absolutely amazing! From the host when we walked in to our waiter. Everyone was incredibly nice, accommodating, and helpful. Perfect! It was dinner time on a Saturday night and we got seated right away. Our waiter was prompt on taking our order and getting our drinks then food for us. The food was fantastic! My husband is picky and even he loved it! The homemade chips and salsa… could not stop eating them. I HIGHLY recommend the Mayan Tacos. You won’t regret it! The drinks were on point. We will be back soon! Thank you for giving us a great evening!

Fine but not great. Food came out hot and pretty quickly but everything was a little underwhelming. Rice and beans were unseasoned. Portions too small based on the price- go somewhere local. Nice outdoor seating and dog friendly though!

Very nice atmosphere. The food was good. The beans was a little under salted but their tortilla chips and salsa was very good. I would have given it a 5 star however I knocked it down by one because our server took away our salsa without asking us but left the tortilla chips behind. What’s the point of chips without salsa? However I would recommend a visit here. Their plantains were also good. Good vegetarian options.

I have been here several times for multiple reasons and have enjoy it every time! The food, service, portions, and margaritas are all great.
Pictured are the combo 8, chicken Quesadilla and the lava cake. All recommend.
