My son and I stopped in to eat on a Saturday and were greeted quickly. We sat ourselves bc the couple in front of us did and we didn’t see a sign stating otherwise.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food in Tulsa, this is your go to. I ordered the mole enchiladas and they were amazing and full of flavor. Most restaurants usually have the same bland rice, but this Mexican rice stood out full seasoning and cooked just right. This places is definitely worth checking out.

We recently decided to try Molcajetes based on reviews and fairly close proximity to our home.
We loved the festive atmosphere and the food was really good.
Food: we shared the Molcajetes platter which consisted of Tilapia, beef, chicken, chorizo, cactus and cheese. While the chicken was delicious, the tilapia was a bit tough and the beef was a bit bland. The chorizo was just right and the butterflied shrimp was delicious. The salsa was delicious and the chips were fresh and crunchy.
Service: the service was great, especially given that they were totally packed for Mother’s Day.
Summary: given that we were there at peak busy time, we are going to try it again at an off time to balance our assessment. Overall, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Big portions, great prices, & amazing service. First time here and this definitely won’t be my last. The chips and queso could be a bit thicker but they were still delicious. My margarita was PERFECTION. I got the rolled tacos they were a bit on the burnt side towards the ends but the middle was juicy and flavorful. My boyfriend got the original molcajete it could have fed both of us & was so delicious! I can’t wait to try more of their menu.
