So, the posted hours on Google were wrong for Otopia Rooftop Bar Austin. However they were super gracious and let us check it out. We grabbed a drink at the downstairs bar and were able to enjoy it rooftop. Thank you so much Jessie!

Visited Austin for the weekend and wanted to try a rooftop lounge, so we checked out Otopia. We didn’t have a reservation and just walked in. There was only one person managing both the lounge and the hotel rooms, so it took a while before she got us into the elevator.
The rooftop vibe was great—beautiful view of the city and a nice atmosphere overall. However, the service was very slow. It took around 35–40 minutes for our food to arrive, and we were told it had to come from the hotel downstairs.
If you have enough time and aren’t in a rush, I’d still recommend this place for the ambiance alone. Just be prepared for slow service.
As for parking, valet seemed a bit pricey, so we opted for the paid underground garage. They mentioned parking is complimentary with a purchase at the lounge and that they would validate the parking ticket. However, you must bring the physical paper slip with you. Ours was in the car, and although I had a photo of it, they said I needed to show it at the downstairs counter. There was a long line and only one person at the front desk, so we ended up just paying for parking.
Overall: Great vibe and views, but slow service and unclear parking instructions.

Otopia Rooftop Bar has a great vibe with comfy furniture and a nice view of Austin. The bartenders are friendly, and the drinks are solid. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the city from above!

The vibe here was incredible: beautiful views and a lively atmosphere. What truly made our night was the outstanding service from Isa behind the bar. She was welcoming, attentive and made great drink recommendations! She kept the energy high and made us feel like VIPs.
