A friend recommended this spot. It’s definitely a little hard to find. We actually drove past it twice before parking and walking around to locate it. The door is locked and there’s no bell, but the staff watches and lets you in when they see you.
There’s no menu, which was a cool experience. The bartender just asks what kinds of flavors or spirits you like and creates a custom cocktail for you. Every drink we had was unique and really well balanced.
It feels intimate, and the bartenders clearly know what they’re doing. If you enjoy craft cocktails and something a little different from the usual bar scene, Attaboy is worth the search.

Although not a speakeasy, this cocktail
bar has all the vibes of one with its atmosphere inside and the entrance in a back alley. At night the entrance is not well lit and not very noticeable.
The door is locked and you don’t have to knock or ring a bell. The bartenders can see you on the security screen and will come out when they see you, or when there is an opening to sit.
Once inside you’re surrounded by modern, yet handsome decor with the perfect lighting and a comfortable amount of tables and bar chairs where you have your own space. They do not pack the bar, which creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching all the drink making action (and the security TV as well ). I was also super impressed with how organized and clean they kept behind the bar. The team really does run like a well oiled machine, but quietly in the background so you don’t even notice all the work they are doing.
There’s no menu. Our bartender chatted with us on what type of cocktail we prefer and he created one on the spot. My cocktail of choice was anything with gin, that was on the sweet side with no red dye 40 (IYKYK) . My cocktail was delicious! CL’s cocktail was made with bourbon and he loved his as well. We actually liked them so much, we decided to stay for a second drink! Each bartender has their own area at the bar, which was so nice because it helps them be super attentive the whole time.
This is a first come first serve cocktail bar, so if you go at a busier time of night, be prepared to wait to get in. They don’t seat parties greater than 6, so pick your company wisely. Service was top notch, ambiance was cozy & inviting, and drinks were fabulous, so if you want a memorable experience we highly recommend you try it out next time you’re in Nashville.

Great experience. Be aware that you have to wait outside until seats open up, and you must provide your ID at the door. They don’t have a menu, you gotta tell them what you want. My guy asked for a hurricane, and I asked for a drink with amaretto. The bartender was friendly and got me a silver fox, which was very good. Both of our drinks were $18. We went around 6 on a Saturday and only had about a 10 minute wait. We would definitely go back!

First time experiencing a place that has no menu for their cocktails and it did not disappoint! They will craft a cocktail of their choosing to your taste and alcohol preference. It’s a speakeasy type of vibe!

The best part about this bar is the lack of a menu. My wife and I always want to describe drinks and see if the bartender can make them. That’s 100% what this place is all about. You get into detail about the things you like and don’t like and then you put a lot of faith in the bartender to create a cocktail. Both my wife and I were beyond excited with our two drinks and we can’t wait to come back every time we go to Nashville..
The atmosphere was super chill and a really good date night place.

This has to be the most unique and quirky cocktail lounge I have ever been to. We weren’t sure if we rocked up to the right place, because the entrance is very understated when it’s dark outside. We stood and waited for somebody to open the door and found the most gorgeous and moody setting inside.
I was expecting to be handed a menu, but instead, we were greeted by a wonderful bartender who asked us what our favorite spirit was, what flavors we liked, and if we had any dietary restrictions. He came back with two cocktails we had never heard of and they were a 10/10. I will definitely be back here with friends next time.

Absolute standout experience. The vibe is intimate, cool, and effortlessly welcoming—but the real star of the night was Eric, our bartender. He was hands-down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had.
Eric took the time to ask what we liked, got creative, and absolutely nailed every drink he made. Each cocktail was perfectly balanced, unique, and honestly better than the last. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and that passion shows in every pour.

My friend and I came here while visiting from out of town. We had such fun time. There was a bit of a wait but the guy at the door set expectations and was able to get us a spot pretty quick. We started standing by the bar then once seats opened up we were able to be moved to the open seats. There is no menu and you tell the bartender what you like to drink or the vibe of a drink you’re going for and then they creat you something from there. Our bartender was very friendly and we got our drinks pretty quick considering they are each custom made! Be sure to ask them about the red corded phone behind the bar for a fun story
