I’ve never made a review before but I feel like Artisans needs a real one. I’ve eaten here 3 times over the years. Just to give it a chance. The first time my food was bland. This was within the first year in the Ashflat Location. The second time my food looked beautiful.. but tasted bland around 2021. Then tonight we go in and order an appetizer two adult meals and one child. Our bill was $74.99…. We got the loaded potato app flavor was decent some of the potatoes were under done. Then our meal arrives. I got the wings 16.99 for a pound of chicken wings. They were fried to death no moisture left in the meat and they don’t season the chicken before frying so where the sauce didn’t touch was incredibly dry and bland. Our side order of okra? Soggy. My wife did say the burger was decent. Probably because it had multiple sauces on it. All in all left confused how this is supposedly one of the best restaurants in our area and honestly that’s the last time I walk through those doors.

Double smash burger was really good. I had pinto beans with mine. Great beans. She had the Maple Bourbon fries, WOW they were amazing!! Way better than any other seasoned fries. Lilly is a great server. Nice place to find passing through town.

I love this place! I go every time I’m in town. The Chicken Florentine is the best thing on the menu. It is a must-have. I think our server was Carson. (I’m terrible wirh names). He was quick, super personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Fantastic experience here.

Perfect place for a quick bite & a beer! Stopped in mid-afternoon. They offer $2 drafts for a couple of selected domestics. Tried the fried green tomatoes and thai chili cauliflower wings. Oh my! The best fried green tomatoes around! & huge portion… 10 slices of tomato, dappled with a fresh pico & roumalade…. perfectly crisp, perfect flavour, & likely the most beautifully plated dish on the menu. The roumalade has just the right amount of heat. The cauli wings were tasty & comparable to those offered @ a Buffalo Wild Wings but in greater portion, 15 in total. Delish! Our server, Tracy, was prompt, friendly & knowledgeable. 10/10 on her service! Will definitely recommend to others & plan to visit again.
Second visit: out of fried green tomatoes! I was so disappointed, but I tried fried mushrooms & they were fabulous! Crispy, salty, served with ranch. Also tried bang bang shrimp… I think that’s what they called it. Sweet & spicy. It was delish! Again, our service was friendly and prompt. The beer selection is great & ice cold.
Third visit: Yay! Fried green tomatoes! Soooo beautifully plated, crisp & tasty! Our server, Terry, was wonderful….accommating, friendly & fast. I’ll plan to visit The Artisan every time I’m passing through.

Artisan grill is really the only “nice” dress up restaurant in this area. However, it could definitely use a bit of work to spruce it up and make it feel like more of a fine dining experience. It really felt more like a diner than a fine dining restaurant inside. It seems like quite a few people were coming in right as they were closing as well so they could definitely extend their hours until around 10pm and get more clientele. Their prices have definitely went up from the prices posted previously, my wife and I both got a ribeye that was $34. They claimed it to be an inch thick but my steak was pretty thin probably only 1/2 an inch. I also ordered mine medium rare but received it as medium well. I made my server aware and they didn’t seem to really care. However the flavor, seasoning and marbling of the steak was pretty good, just not the inch thick steak they promised. The soup was ok but had a lot of grease in it and a raw piece of jalapeño and was in a tiny cup. Overall our experience here wasn’t bad but I didn’t feel like it was worth the price we paid. They also get their desserts from Walmart and they are not homemade.

Me and wife vist there while camping. I got the catfish and shrimp combo everything was cooked to perfection. My wife got the redneck nachos they were awesome. Katrina is an awesome waitress very helpful

The service was great as is the atmosphere. Kitchen was very slow to get our food out…1 grilled chicken breast and 1 chicken salad.

Very good food. We happened upon the Artisan Grill while traveling. Upbeat and modern look. I had a double meat smash burger and maple fries. Very big portions and excellent taste. Lily was a great waitress and the manager super helpful. Well done

Great place to eat. Our server was very attentive and checked on us regularly. The bone in wings were finger licking good! Hubby’s smash burger was moist and juicy and full of flavor.
