Kogane Ramen has opened its second restaurant in Manhattan, which originally is from Downtown Brooklyn. We make our reputation by the food quality, soup taste, and inner decor.
We daily homemade noodles to provide the freshest ramen for you. We are picky about the food so you can enjoy the most tasteful topping. We are serious about the dining space because we believe that each meal is an experience.

Ambiance (5/5): The establishment was empty around 6p but by 7p, it was pretty filled up. I loved the decorations with the overhead flowers which were cute, welcoming, and spacious. The tables are set out with enough space between. The
Service (5/5): The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We definitely were taking our time ordering and eating, and loitering post-meal and the staff never came to rush us! We felt like we were attended to the whole experience.
Jowl Buns (5/5): Super moist and tender pieces of pork. The creaminess of the sauce blended well with the bite.
Tonkotsu Ramen (5/5): The broth was super rich and delicious, with the black garlic oil flavor in the background. The half soft boiled egg was nicely seasoned. The two large pieces of charsiu pork was a great blend of fat and meat, which gave it a really tender bite. The noodles are thin straight noodles. The mix of wood ear, scallions, seaweed for a price point of under $20.
I observed my friend eating the lobster ramen but be warned that the lobster pieces required manual maneuvering and thus a very messy experience!

My experience every time I come here is superb. The vegetable ramen has the perfect combination of veggies with just the right amount of kick. The Chicken katsu curry rice has a perfectly fried crispy chicken that is majestically paired with the curry. The Orion beer is one of my favorite beers to date. It’s a smooth, non-bitter lite beer that pairs great with this food. Complimentary warm tea is usually served after the meal. Overall affordable place with great food.

We happened across this quaint little Ramen place in March of 2020, right before the city shut down for the pandemic. We loved it so much that we’ve been back to the city (from Florida) twice more and visited both times. The ramen is made fresh daily and you can tell. The service is amazing and the ramen is amazing. You can’t go wrong if you even remotely like ramen!

Literally walked by the sign and my daughter said, “Let’s get Ramen!” So, I did a quick search of the reviews and bang!! We enjoyed every bite. Fair warning on the octopus balls… they are served fresh & piping hot!! Excellent flavors all around. See pics for our choices and trust that they know how to deliver. Even the green tea was steeped perfectly and capped off the meal perfectly. Great food & service. #LocalGem #GoodEats #theresthatfoodie #AVTeats

Just a random place to snack at after the halloween parade, it turned out to be the best ramen I’ve had for a long time. So surprising to drop in and this place beats all the japanese places I’ve been to at St Marks Pl. Ramen was not salty and very flavorful, yakitori had really good char flavor for chicken, pork belly, and also short rib. Really give this place a try. Hoping to hit this place up again next time in the city.

It’s good ramen! I had the Miso Lobster, it’s really good, there’s indeed big pieces of lobster, and the broth is intense. I also had the rice bowl with skewers, and it’s good but basic, I’m glad it’s not the only thing I ordered. The Agedashi tofu is great too!
However, one star down for the unbearable pop music, see the video. It’s really bad taste for a ramen place where many people go to dine alone and in peace. They blast teenager music and makes it very uncomfortable to stay, I couldn’t wait to finish and leave.

I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and it was absolutely delicious! The portions were huge. Honestly, it was enough for two people. I definitely recommend this spot!
