We started with the blue crab queso and the famous jalapeño corn & crab bisque — hands down the best soup we’ve ever had. In fact, it was so good we returned the next day just for another bowl. We also ordered two of the popular furikake sticky rice bowls with shrimp and salmon, both bursting with flavor. To top it off, we enjoyed a couple of the mudslides, which were rich, smooth, and perfectly indulgent.
Our server, Kyleigh O., had a bubbly personality and was incredibly kind — her friendly attitude and attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable.
When we came back the next day, River took great care of us. The cobb salad and salt oysters were just as delicious. All around, an outstanding dining experience both times!

We came here with our kids and absolutely loved the experience. The outdoor seating area with a playground was a wonderful touch. It kept the kids entertained while we waited for our food. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable and the food itself was delicious. This combination of great dining and a family friendly setup makes it a place we’d gladly return to.

I absolutely loved this place! Recently stopped in with the fam on vacation and my sis chose this spot for a couple birthday celebrations and it didn’t disappoint. Our server Sam was an absolute gem! she was constantly checking up on us being attentive, super accommodating, and did it all with a smile. The food. Standard beach fair, nothing crazy exceptional over the top, but nothing not worth trying if that makes sense. The atmosphere is incredible and merry (vacationers def make the mood) Of course, it was packed, and def took a while to get the food, but what else would you expect from a packed place (like to the brim, maybe 2 open bar seats) which is good that means this place has a good following and will be open for business next year as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Great restaurant, deck has an entry tithe waterway, you can drive or come by your boat , this one is better among many in ocean city , they make their food well, it’s seasoned well and cooked well too.. many places we visited have great infra but serve quick fried food but NOT tailchasers , their chicken wings were very well seasoned and tasty , we also had their house salad the lemon vinaigrette was tasty and very well balanced for the salad. Shrimp tacos were also a good choice , a Dog friendly place with nice view of the waterway. We will be here next time we are in OC.

Half price entrees on a Saturday night…yes please! We started at the upstairs bar with a bartender who made a special peach crush just for me which was outstanding while we waited for our group of 11 to arrive and be seated. The fire raged and it was super cozy. I went with the bartender’s recommendation of baby back ribs and they were soooo good! My friends loved their ribs, shrimp bowls, steak, salmon, and shrimp spaghetti. I should have mentioned that the nachos were a really awesome way to start off the meal.
At the end of the night, at our waiter’s recommendation we decided to take home two Nutter Butter brownie thingies after he told us that all of their desserts were homemade. The way he described the peanut butter cream had us all grasping for forks when we got back to our friend’s house. And yes those desserts were out of this world! I would highly recommend Tailchasers. It was crowded on a Saturday night during the off season, so please go with the thought of enjoying an evening out and not running in for a quick meal. It appeared as though everyone pitched in to help get food out. We appreciated that and had a great night!

I don’t typically leave reviews but i was compelled to for this place. Shout out to our server Rick-extremely kind and personable. He was amazing and the food was amazing as well. Kids food menu was thought out, not just a chicken tenders and burgers menu for the kids. My kids had shrimp and flounder and they ate it all somehow. No other place I can think of that has the same vibe and atmosphere. Donut ganesh to top things off. 10 out of 10.

Amazing food and atmosphere. My friends and I came here for a quick bite and the staff was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered the mussels, crispy shrimp, and Blue Point oysters- everything was a perfect 10/10. The key lime crushes were so refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. Would definitely come back!

Our first time dining at this place and it didn’t disappoint! We enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. We sat outside which is right on the water. Our server did a good job. I had fish tacos and my husband had their sword fish. We also ordered their Bang Bang Calamari. We gave this restaurant 5 star review because everything was fantastic!
