Very disappointing experience — not worth the money!

We had a terrible experience here and ended up paying for food we couldn’t even eat. We ordered Pav Bhaji (No Onion, No Garlic) for our 5-year-old, but it was far too salty. When we politely asked for a replacement, the lady in the kitchen seemed visibly unhappy, and it was again overly salty. Still, we gave it another try and ordered Paneer Butter Masala (NOG) with Cheese Naan — again, disappointing. The naan came out cold and chewy. When we returned Naan, we actually overheard the kitchen staff respond rudely with “NOW THIS” in a very bad tone.

What made it worse is that they just microwaved the same cold naan and sent it back instead of preparing a fresh one! To top it all off, the Paneer Butter Masala was not NOG as we requested—it had onion and garlic in it. We realised there was no care or respect for our order or for us as customers.

We decided not to eat anything further to avoid another disappointing dish, but still had to pay the full amount. This experience completely ruined what was meant to be a pleasant family meal.

If you value good food, respectful service, and your money, I would not recommend visiting this place. There are far better Indian restaurants nearby that truly care about customer satisfaction.

Everything ordered was quite good and reasonably priced. My favourite was the Manchurian noodles which did have a spicy kick to it. They do have a massive menu which was a little overwhelming to choose from initially but given everything ordered was good I can def see myself coming back and ordering more variety

We ordered Bombay Vadapav, Ragda Chaat, Chole With Kulcha, Paper Plain Dosa, Tea and Coffee. Bombay Vadapav and Ragda Chaat was good. The kulcha’s were really soft and looking very different from normal north Indian Kulcha. Dosa batter was very sour and sambar and both chutney’s were a failure (I will not recommend trying dosa from here). We went during the peak time on Thursday so there was delay in service which was justifiable. The orders were placed together for everything but still at the end of the meal we have to remind the staff twice about the drinks at which point they informed that the tea would take another 20 minutes. Thus we cancelled our drinks and left.

I ordered Dahi Puri and Manchurian, and both dishes reflected a high level of technical execution and flavour balance. The Dahi Puri featured crisp, fresh puris paired with smooth, well-seasoned yogurt, complemented by thoughtfully layered tamarind and green chutneys that provided acidity, freshness, and controlled heat without overpowering the dish, while the filling was proportioned to maintain texture and prevent sogginess. The Manchurian was equally well-prepared, with evenly fried pieces that remained tender inside and absorbed the sauce effectively; the gravy itself was glossy and well-emulsified, delivering a balanced umami profile with garlic-forward notes, subtle sweetness, and measured spice. Overall, the food showcased quality ingredients, precise seasoning, and consistent preparation, resulting in a refined and thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.

Great street food and chat options. I found the taste very authentic and service was quick as well. Friendly staff and cash or card payment accepted. Parking on the street is difficult around busy times but plenty of parking behind the restaurant and in nearby streets.

The Chaat BLEW MY Mind!!
I ordered Papdi Chaat and Bhel Puri and it was so good I wanted to cry! It took me back to the streets of Delhi, the crunchiness, flavours of the chutneys, the sweetness was just so perfect, I hope they never lose the touch ✨
Also to top that, fast service, nostalgic songs, well lit and clean atmosphere and kind staff!
A friend of mine is also crazy about Katka Dabeli, can’t wait to come back and try more

Changed my rating from 5 stars to 1 after my recent visit.

I ordered a veg thali, sandwich, and aloo patty.
The veg thali was terrible — the black chickpea curry was completely undercooked, and I fell sick after eating it.

Even worse, the kitchen hygiene was shocking. The chef and staff had their mouths full of chewing tobacco while preparing food. This is extremely unhygienic, unsafe, and should never be allowed inside a commercial kitchen.

I genuinely think the council should take strict action. This level of negligence is unacceptable.

Had a lovely experience at Jai Bhavani! Himakshi served us with a big smile and was very friendly and polite throughout.

We ordered:
• Mirchi Bhaji – nice and spicy, just the way it should be!
• Dabeli – full of flavor, soft bun with perfect filling.
• Samosa – hot, crispy, and absolutely delicious.
• Gulab Jamun – soft, warm, and melted in the mouth.
• Chai – took a little while to prepare, but it was totally worth it. Strong and just the way we like it.

The indoor seating was clean and comfortable. Service time was decent, and everything was served fresh. Loved the vada pav sauce and green chutney!

Would definitely recommend this place for a quick and tasty snack! Will be visiting again soon

delicious taste experience. The food quality is excellent, and the flavors truly stand out. The Vada Pav was flavorful, and if you love spice, the chili is a must-try! Orders arrive quickly, but for the best experience, I highly recommend dining in to fully enjoy the fresh and authentic flavours .
