I have to say that my most recent visit at Shari’s was probably one of the best, if not the best, service wise I’ve ever experienced. The food took a little longer than usual but that was fine, it was piping hot when we did receive it. The drinks (strawberry lemonade and peach ice tea) were perfect. We had a group of 3 adults and 2 children, one of which was being completely unruly, but the waitress was amazing! She kept up with my other halves antics joking around, she didn’t bat an eye at my son’s grumpiness and she was super sweet. If you want to expirence the best waitress around go there on a Saturday evening and cross your fingers!!

I called in to make a pick up order for a Saturday night dinner. I asked for a French dip sandwich but they were out of the sliced meat (the waitress told me they stock on Saturday late evening) so instead I ordered the fish and chips and then the country fried steak but they were out of mash potatoes so I got a baked potato instead. Anyway, when I picked up the food and took it home this is what I got: fish and chips with about 10 French fries to go with the fish, a country fried steak with no gravy, no dinner roll and a plain baked potato with no butter, no sour cream, nothing. I’m usually a pretty tolerant guy but when I pay $17 for fish and chips and $16 for a country fried steak, I expect more food or at the least the amount of food advertised on the menu… For dessert I ordered two shakes, one a pie shake and one a regular chocolate shake. The pie shake had about half of the slice of pie still intact at the bottom, a somewhat homogenous milkshake mixture in the middle, and then a intact scoop of ice cream on top with some whip cream to top it off. I could go on about taste and textures but I think this is all to say that this is a huge departure from the quality of food I remember as a kid growing up in Port Orchard. Really hope they make some changes soon.

This local diner has a little of everything. It may remind you east-coasters of Village Inn with a menu and hours spanning the entire day. In fact it’s one of very few Port Orchard restaurants open past 10pm!
Had a good late lunch here with mom. Soup & salad was tasty, good bang for the buck with 3 soup options and 3-4 sandwiches. They even have beer, wine, and mimosas!
On a more recent visit I had a nice breakfast. Classic stuff, and it was all cooked nicely at a reasonable price. See pics below!

The service was super friendly and the food was amazing. I got the bacon double burger and I described to my friends as heavens burger…the burger just melted in your mouth and surprisingly Shari’s sauce went perfectly with it. The Dutch apple pie was really good too. And this praise is coming from an extremely picky eater.

I took my daughter here for her birthday breakfast. This is her review: “I’d give this place five stars. Nothing’s really old. Like nothing’s dusty. Everything is clean. I like this lamp. Their food is good. Their menu is nice and neat. Most napkins are skinny, but theirs are thick. Like thick enough to play tic-tac-toe.”

So decided to go out to dinner with my husband and son cause thought it would be fun the server was really great but we ended up waiting over 40 minutes for my son’s burger to come really burnt my husband’s steak was dry and gross and the chicken tenders had hair on it along with my food had a hair on it we sent the food back and the manager came to our table and said that they won’t be making us any more food cause we had to many problems so basically cause they messed up they took away my option to get food so that’s cool. Definitely disappointed in how they treated us since they are the ones that messed up.

Food was awesome, avacado and eggs benedict is a must try. Service was a bit slow, it is a good place for weekend brunch to chill and relax. Very affordable and clean location.

My dad.really wanted soup so we came to Shari’s for some potato soup and when we got the soup it was just water… We added 8 packs of crushed crackers to maybe help make it a little thick maybe more Appetizing and it did not help we sent it back and it got taken off are bill then we ordered the Works Platter and it comes with a Shareable platter of our southern-style chicken tenders, cheese quesadilla tortilla chips served with queso salsa and smoky BBQ or buffalo dipping sauces. Serves 4 it only came with queso and salsa and the queso looked like plastic and the only real thing that had flavor on that plate was the tortia chips which I could of bought for 5 bucks instead of the 18 dollar platter that sucked. Shari’s used to be a really good place to eat but the food quality has just went out the window I felt bad for are Waitress who looked not even 20 who was doing everything her self while there was one cook and he didn’t even look like a cook maybe a manager. In all Shari’s needs to return to what they used to be.

I order a single mashed potatoes and gravy and got a small about of potatoes, decent gravy but had 1/2 slice of turkey. Is that why my side of potatoes and gravy cost me $4.00?? The amount of food for the price is not worth it in my opinion. The food here has gone down in the last couple years. I won’t be back.
