Had the prime rib with raw horseradish, collard greens and a Ceasars salad. The cease salad had just the e ight amount of dressing. Ate at outback the night before and there was so much dressing it was gross. Wanted prime rib at outback but they only have it on weekends. Thats why I choose R Place because it was recommended and I wanted prime rib. Cooked perfectly and add a cold beer what could go wrong. As far as the collard greens, pretty hard to screw them up. Definitely going back to try other items. Place was totally packed waited like 15 minutes for a table it was well worth it.

Brought my mom to lunch here and that was a huge mistake. We arrived at 12 and didn’t receive our order until 12:45. We ordered chicken salad croissant sandwich and the teriyaki chicken breast. 45 minutes for a sandwich and a single chicken breast over rice…? Insane.
So you look that over, slow day whatever- and I take a bite of the chicken salad croissant I ordered and the dough of the croissant is raw. It is gummy and undone. The waiter was understanding and got me a replacement. She brought the replacement and drink refills.
Got half way through the second croissant and it was doughy and raw as well. Only the outside “flaked up” anyone who’s ever baked knows if the inside is gummy and wet it is undone. Croissants are flakey THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH. It was disgusting. In the photo I took you can see the inside of the croissant dough is wet and shiny and raw.
To top the hellish experience off- the refill of drinks she brought- one cup had some mysterious white mass floating in the ice cube. I brought it to the front to show someone as we’re leaving because our server wasn’t around. The woman just said sorry do you want a refill? Ew no? From your contaminated ice machine. My gosh! I never had to write a review like this. Bad service. Bad food. Bad wait. Bad value. Avoid at all costs.

The house salad is the best! I got the R place chicken and it was delicious, as well as the loaded mashed potato on the side. If you order kids mac n cheese… just be prepared to pay $7 for a boxed blue Kraft bowl. We ordered it expecting a southern baked mac n cheese. Also, here’s a picture of the (4) baked then fried muffin Oreo bites. It came with vanilla ice cream and Hershey’s chocolate for dipping sauce. Overall we have ordered great food here on many occasions. We love the atmosphere and service.

Been a while since I’ve been here so me and a friend decided to grab a late lunch. Place was nice on the inside we were greeted promptly and our waitress was very nice and attentive my only complaint is that it took our order around 25-30 minutes to come out. Not sure why it took so long the place was dead. So unfortunately we were unable to dine inside and had to have our order boxed up so we could leave. She had a salad and I ordered the chicken tender sandwich which were really good when we got to eat them. Loved the fries and the sandwich was good as well..
Update came back a few days ago and food was great and amazing service. Place was packed and food came out very quickly. We’ll be back

When I find the love of my tummy, you better believe I’m going back again and again. With R Place, it’s for the same thing over and over again. Their menu is simple, with so many great choices. From visit 1 to now, I’ve only ordered SHE CRAB SOUP and the HOT LAVA BANGKOK SHRIMP. I can not get past how fantastic these 2 dishes are for me to even consider ordering anything else. The best news is, everyone I go with offers to taste their dishes, and I have to say, everything is so darn delicious!! Picture includes the welcome honey buttered croissants and my husband’s house salad.
Btw, our lovely server Nadia suggested trying Pete’s hot sauce in my already perfect soup. {{pass out to the chef’s kiss}}

Normally love this place but the management refused to make a reservation even though I called well in advance and again the morning of for a surprise birthday with a group of 12 people.
They did not have a table ready , ruined the surprise and then set us up in a little hallway area that didn’t have enough seats.
Waited again while they brought in another table.
The bright spot was our server Alice. She took wonderful care of us.
A little consideration from the hostess / management would have gone a long way to make this occasion special.

It was my first time there and the service was incredible are waitress was on top of everything. My steak was a tad undercooked they took it right back and fixed it immediately the she-crab soup was to die for and loaded with crab meat. I had the ribeye steak oh my God melted in your mouth the bill was a little high but not for all I got and I was greedy I will definitely go back

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. I’m definitely glad I finally went. As soon as you walk in, it seems classy. I like that. The waiter was great. The food was spectacular. I got the kamun Hawaiian chicken, and the wifey got the ribeye steak. I tried it was better than most steak places in Greenwood. My meal was excellent as well. My table said the salads were great. I was caught off guard when the croissants came out. Those things were out of this world, and I definitely would recommend it. Come here for a nice little date night or heck just for lunch you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered steak. My date ordered the ribs. Both had baked potatoes and salad. The food was excellent! Cooked perfectly. Service was outstanding. Unfortunately I cannot remember our servers name, but each time a server passed by, they checked on us. I was truly impressed. The manager Twizec also stopped by our table. This was our first visit, but definitely will not be our last!
