Spacious, no-frills bar with sports TV & cold beer, known for its Buffalo wings.
Buff’s Pub – Newton
Since 1976, Buff’s Pub has been Newton Corner’s home for wings, cold beer, and Boston sports. Thrillist called our famous wings the “best in the state.

First time stopping at Buff’s in a few years – still good!
Really enjoyed the Wings plate with onion wings, sauce Buffalo Xtra Hot (which is not SUPER hot, but just right). Salad was also good, fresh vegetables and a good size.
Friendly bartender – thanks Eduardo.
They do take credit cards these days.

I’ve had so many wings and most of them are pretty bad (I’m looking at you avenue bar) but Buff’s wings are solid. Great crunch, the saucey-ness is phenomenal and the ranch is wing stop level good. I got a side of fries and they were nice and crunchy not like McDonald type fries but has a god crispiness. The vibe is normal nothing crazy and the service was super chill. Big hometown bar vibe.

This Pub has the best wings outside of Buffalo, it’s a meeting place for the Boston College games and a hometown favorite to locals and visitors alike.
The beer is cold and the wings are hot
The tenders are good, the wings are better.
The pub is busy but you can cozy up to the bar until your name is called for your table.
Friendly patrons make the waiting a breeze.

Buff’s Pub is hands-down legendary. If you’re even remotely into wings, this place should be a pilgrimage. Perfectly crispy, sauced just right, and somehow never greasy — they’ve cracked the code. The vibe is exactly what you want in a pub: loud in the best way, full of energy, and totally unpretentious. Service is quick, the beer’s always cold, and the food never misses. Whether you’re here for game night or just craving the best wings in Massachusetts, Buff’s delivers every time.

Hands down best wings around. If you know of a better spot I’d love to hear about it. I’ve heard there burgers are great but I’ve only had the wings and apps. I just can’t get myself to eat anything else.
Like all places, in my opinion it’s best when it’s fresh and you eat there. But that’s literally everything. The place isn’t large but it’s worth it. Plan accordingly. Don’t expect to show up at 1pm when the Pats are kicking off and find a seat. Get there a little early. The waitstaff is nice. The bartenders are great people. Pull up a stool, have a beverage, and watch a game with some delicious wings. You won’t regret it.
And who knows, maybe you’ll find a former Boston athlete sitting amongst you doing the same. (Just be courteous. They too just want to sit and enjoy some amazing wings).

Around 2017 or so this place had the best wings and tenders anyone could ever ask for. Nowadays they’re still pretty good, but the average quality of wings have increased so they don’t stand out as much.
You can expect at least a 40 minute to an hour wait to get seated on busy nights, when its not too busy it would be a 10-20 minute wait. They also usually run an incredibly small team that are super busy, so the service is short and to the point. In my experience usually forgetting a thing or two.
What you do get is some incredible bang for buck food at a decent quality.

Buff’s Pub is a wing-lover’s dream and hands down the best spot for wings in Boston. With a killer lineup of flavors and the rare option to pick flats or drums on non-game days, it’s pure magic for your taste buds. The staff is beyond friendly, making you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. Sure, parking can be a bit of a hunt, and the bar is snug, but it all adds to the charm. Trust me, if you’re anywhere nearby, you’d be crazy not to swing by for some legendary wings!

The wait was surprisingly pretty long for a Wednesday night. Because of that, I forgot to take pics. But anyway, the wings are pretty basic, basic sauces: buffalo, stuff that says it’s spicy but it’s actually not, bbq, ya know, the usual. The French onion soup was okay, a little watery. The beers were good tho! And it’s a cute dive bar in general, a good spot to catch up and have little drinks, I wouldn’t say a full blown dinner.

It’s a decent pub with friendly and attentive service. We came specifically for the wings, but they were just average—squite tough, and the sauce was too runny for our taste. A thicker sauce would’ve made a big difference.
