First off for a Saturday night around 7pm I expecting this restaurant to be booming. Unfortunately they were not busy at all which is why I have some issues with the staff being prompt.
I had the quesadilla burger with fries and ordered a side salad as well. In what universe do you serve a customer a salad after you serve them their entree? My wife ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp which was supposed to have sautéed mushrooms but didn’t.
All in all, they were out of a few “stock” items (broccoli, mushrooms and a few types of beer), service was slow and I can’t say for sure that I would eat there again.

It was Veteran’s Day. Had to wait like 15 mins which wasn’t bad. Chantye was our server. Very personable, engaging and friendly. Burger was delicious but Chicken fingers were on point.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This was a terrible experience all around and we will not be back. Instead of being greeted politely by a server, we were greeted by “are they yours or mine?” The place was deserted… at the time, it was just us and 1 other table. My partner never got a refill. I got one, but waited forever for it and needed another, but never got it. It’s not even like we could flag her down either, because she was no where to be found 90% of the visit. We couldn’t ask anyone else either because well, they were no where to be found too or helping the other guests when they made an appearance. Our soups that we asked to come out before the meal were brought with the meal and were not even filled halfway in the bowl. My partner ordered a classic cheeseburger, and the pictures I provided are his sorry excuse for a burger. I also included a picture for what they advertise as their classic cheeseburger. Pictures don’t even do it justice…. a value menu cheeseburger from McDonalds is bigger than this. In my case, I asked for BBQ sauce twice and was never brought BBQ sauce and my chicken was overcooked. My partner ordered dessert, and the waitress pretty much slammed the dish on the table in front of him and walked away. We were nothing but kind to her so I’m not sure what prompted this. Now came check time. My partner and I waited about 30 minutes after we finished our food to get our check…drink glasses still empty. Then it took 30 minutes for our waitress to return to take our credit card. This place wasted our time and didn’t value our business. We will not be back, even if offered an incentive to come back.

I ordered a well-done steak, and when I began cutting into it, I noticed a small amount of blood. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but the more I cut, the more blood came out. It was clearly not cooked well-done as requested. That was very disappointing.
The loaded mashed potatoes were okay, but the bacon was extremely hard and tasted old. The lettuce in my salad was also wilted and not fresh.
As a pregnant customer, food quality and proper preparation are extremely important to me. I expect my food to be cooked correctly and handled with care. If an order cannot be prepared properly, it should not be served. I would have preferred a correction or refund rather than being served food that did not meet basic standards.
I hope management takes food safety and quality more seriously moving forward.

They weren’t busy at all so I don’t understand why our food wasn’t prepared properly and why their cups were all dirty. Terrible experience. I came in with a baby. They didn’t accommodate our seating. I won’t be back. We got up and left. Didn’t even get to enjoy the food. Yall need new crew and management!

Me and my wife ordered dinner and they didn’t deliver $40.00 worth of our order through door dash. It took several calls just to speak to a human who is at a call center and not the restaurant to only tell us they couldn’t reach a manager. We are hard working people and usually make meals at home but with kids in tow and running a business sometimes we are too tired to cook and want a good meal. It’s not about the money it’s about going to bed hungry….

There’s not a lot of late night options for food in Chesapeake, but we stopped by this Applebee’s on a whim. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food is average, fresh, and served in a timely manner. I was not impressed with the specialty cocktail I ordered. But this location is over due for a refresh. It feels worn and out dated. I was distracted by an ant crawling on our table. There’s also a plumbing issue that needs attention in the men’s restroom.

I left my credit card at this Applebee’s on Saturday. When I came on Monday to retrieve it, the manager told me he took it home. Mistakes happen, but my card should have been placed in the safe immediately, and it is unclear why it wasn’t returned the next day.
This is a serious violation of personally identifiable information (PII) and a breach of trust. Because of this negligence, I had to cancel my card and monitor my accounts for potential fraud.
I expect urgent accountability and action from management. No customer should ever have to experience this level of mishandling of sensitive information.
If this issue is not addressed promptly, I will report this incident to the Better Business Bureau and escalate further. No customer should ever have to deal with this level of negligence

The food was Applebees, the atmosphere was once again Applebees, but, Mike was the best server I could’ve asked for. Honest and blunt answering questions, an obvious awareness that normal people aren’t rich and most are on a budget, and on the ball service. He was there every time we needed him and never saw him when we didn’t. Thanks Mike for a great first night out for my family in a long time
