The dark-haired cashier named John is excellent to serve despite speaking little English. He makes himself understood and explains well. I like it when he is at the cashier and when he makes the orders they should give him an extra bonus. The food was delicious and fresh. I visit him every week. Store is disguising, crumbs over every table and floor, windows nasty looking like nothing has been cleaned and the mens restroom was the worst ive ever seen one be, there was grey smog over the sink and what looked to be pubic hair on the sink as well, if the front of house looks this bad I am scared to see the back. My family and I went in to order family meals and my personal meal…atmosphere typical besides the leaks coming from the drink station leaving a puddle on the floor…and being out of pies and Mac and cheese…Ms.T provided outstanding service…but whoever made the chicken did not follow the recipe. All of our orders were consistent with chicken not seasoned or fried fresh. The chicken was dark, unseasoned, and crust was textured hard and crispy crunchy cooked in old oil. I’m not pleased…we spent well over one hundred dollars. Very disappointed!!!

My chicken was so hard that I couldn’t eat it. The biscuits were overcooked and the place had no napkins. I was at the outlet shopping and stopped by for some food before I went back home in Richmond. By the time I realized how hard the chicken was , I was almost home. Service was good but the food was terrible. Please do better!!!

So I went in ordered on the app. Came in and they said it wasn’t ready. Ended up waiting a total of 40 minutes for my food. Only to find out that the spicy dark meat chicken that I ordered had mild pieces and a random spicy tenderloin? They even forgot my side of fries. When I got the fries, they were stale. The chicken tasted like it wasn’t even marinated properly, bland, stale. This is by far one of the worst popeyes I’ve ever been to. DO NOT go here.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Popeyes. Usually they are consistently delicious, no matter how long the wait times. The manager made me wait, while she was doing something else in the back, then when I finally received my order, the chicken sandwich was gummy and not right. I already knew that she was unconcerned with me as a customer, so I didn’t bother to try and take my sandwich back. I also saw multiple health code violations while I waited, so there’s that.

It’s always something with this place. Usually it’s just my food not being fresh, which is weird considering they tell me to pull around to the front every time, but this was the last straw. I’m never going to this location AGAIN. I decided to try the fish sandwich for the first time. I was asked to pull around to the front per usual, and tell me why when I got the food and tried it…. The fish was UNCOOOKED!!! I’m talking the center was so cold as if it was came out of the freezer. The bread was also cold. I’m not over exaggerating, I seriously mean COLD not, room temp, COLD. This was a horrible experience. Close this place down.

I asked and paid for the 3 piece chicken tender and I got 4 and a biscuit! The only reason I do 3 stars on the food is because there wasn’t much chicken more of the outside but if that appeals to you it is amazing. The chicken that it has was super flavorful. I got the original. And the biscuit is to die for!!!!

November 8, 2025 3:34 pm. Long wait for food. Bathrooms were a disaster. Out of most soda flavors. Food was OK. Best part manager arguing with staff in the front line for all to hear.
3:35 pm. Suspiciously quiet now. Except for the unanswered beeping of a fry basket.
3:40pm. A woman is asking for freebies for such a long wait for her chicken.

Chicken pretty good, moist on inside and outside crispy. Fries way too crispy though (can see in pictures the inside was empty). So fries were inedible. Fountain drink machine wasn’t working. Cashier lady was wearing mask on her chin, which all it was doing was acting as a collection pouch from her forehead sweat. Not exactly the kind of sight that encourages an appetite.
Update: 3 family members (including myself) had mild food poisoning late at night. Do wonder if it was from that chin sweat pouch that would spray out everytime she turned her head.
