We made a reservation but we got there 20 minutes late due to parking. The hostess was really nice and seated us right away. The food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. Table spacing gives a lot of privacy. Our server was very attentive and recommended a good wine to match our order. The only food that we did not like was the side polenta.

Royal treatment excellent hospitality! Great server outstanding selection! Celebrated mom’s birthday enjoyed the antipasto, calamari, wedge salad and couple other items for lunch. Topped it off with tiramisu with a candle . We were visiting from out of town but will return for sure !

I’ve been a fan of this hidden gem for the past two years now. The service is always amazing and welcoming, atmosphere is romantic but not too upscale, and the food is always fresh and delicious.

Overall great service, spacious restaurant, and quite a lot of people especially for a Thursday early dinner time. I will say this a bit more expensive than what I’m used to paying for Italian, but I get it.
Lamb special was our favorite dish. Perfectly cooked and charred.
Pesto chicken pasta we asked to add Alfredo sauce to make it creamy. Didn’t disappoint!
Scallop and shrimp pasta special with wine sauce. This was just OK. Don’t recommend.
Arugula salad was a small portion but tasty.

First time visiting this restaurant and I have nothing but good things to say. Food was extremely delicious, fresh, and nice portions. The service was very pleasant and server was attentive. I will definitely be back again.

Back again, but this time by myself on a Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in mid-June. The restaurant is rather full, but I had no problem getting the table for one. I was craving the Veal Saltimbocca all afternoon! This time I started with the beef carpaccio, and it was done so lovely with a little dollop of mustard on a basil leaf on the side. Light, refreshing, and so fresh! The Saltimbocca did not disappoint… truly authentic so delicious. To finish, since I’m a piggy today, the peach sorbet in a peach shell…just peachy and not too sweet…yummy!! My food server was lovely, professional and attentive; she has timed everything so perfectly. This place consistently delivers amazing traditional Italian food. I love it here!!

Best Italian restaurant in Hayward – though admittedly it’s not a high bar. Nevertheless, service is great, bartenders are able to make different types of drinks and the food is good. Changing up the menu every quarter wouldn’t be a bad idea.

The servers are supper knowledgeable and attentive. The space sort of has the traditional tavern vibe and nice decor. I’ve had the cappellini e pomodoro and it’s the best pasta I have ever had. I always make sure to eat too much bread before my pasta so I have leftovers the next day (it’s even better the second day)

Roberto the server made the evening. From articulating the long list of specials to managing the details of the appetizer selections and to the key features we selected as our main courses. Nothing was missed!!! Wall murals give you a sense of being in A small Italian village. Don’t let the store front fool you – the restaurant is huge with great atmosphere. One of the best locationsI for dinner, that I have experienced in California. Our meals and service received was amazing!!!
