It’s a smash burger. You need minimum 2 patties. It’s basic. $10. Not horrible. Be sure you check the daily deals. The savings are no more than a dollar. No lettuce. They should provide comment cards to find out if people want lettuce. I recommend bring your own lettuce. Doesn’t hurt to get some lettuce and offer it. I’m sure the food wholesaler can provide it. They have a huge kitchen. Also if you’re not getting cheese they should not charge you the same price..

Burgers Never Say Die is a no-frills smashburger spot built on simplicity. The menu is short and focused on burgers and fries.

I tried the regular with cheese, which is actually a double. The patties are thin, seared, and cooked with that classic smashburger crust. The flavor leans salty and savory, balanced by the soft bun. The chopped onions add a McDonald’s-style touch, though they can lean a little strong in the overall taste.

The fries were golden, crispy, and thin—exactly the style I prefer. They came out hot with plenty of salt and crunch. If you want to mix it up, there are sides like ranch, cheese sauce, and hot chili peppers.

The setup is extremely casual: order at the window, grab a spot at one of the outdoor tables, or take it to go. Parking is limited out front, but you’ll find metered spots along the street. The bold mural reading “Burgers Never Say Die” makes it clear you’re in the right place.

In the end, BNSD is about doing one thing really well—smashburgers. It’s not a destination burger worth crossing the city for, but if you’re in the neighborhood and want a straightforward, no-fuss burger and fries, it hits the spot.

This place is incredible! It’s by far the best burger we’ve had in LA and we have tried a lot. The meat is so crispy and tasty. Really high quality food. The fries are super crispy and not too oversalted. I only wish this was on the UK. 100% would return. The only thing I wish was that there was a rest room.

Good quality smash burger. Wish I got different toppings than their classic, though. That topping combo tastes like an upgraded McDonald’s burger. Good drink options including multiple root beers. Fries are basically McDonald’s fries but guaranteed to be fresh and you can get a 4oz cup of cheese with them. Cookies are great, too

The place is a walk up shop with outdoor seating.

I’d been wanting to try this spot ever since I saw it on TikTok. They serve pretty straightforward smash burgers—nothing fancy. It’s a bit of a letdown that you can’t add any extra toppings, but I guess that’s part of their concept. We tried both the regular and triple stack burgers, and they were really solid. The fries were also on point. Unfortunately, the guy at the counter was pretty dry and didn’t seem very helpful—definitely gave off “I hate my job” vibes. Overall, it’s a good burger, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Also pretty damn pricey for a basic burger.

I absolutely love this place. The burger is always amazing, and I’ve already been here about three times. The fries are perfect, and I really enjoy the vibe here. Everyone is chill, and the service is simple and efficient. I’d definitely recommend this over many other burger joints. I’ll be back soon, BNSD.

The food is great.

I’m not sure if it was because the burger was cool by the time it arrived or the lack of ingredients but maybe I’ll come back if they invite me. Meat was the highlight

Always a treat to have a BNSD!! Been coming for years and it’s ALWAYS consistent!!!

They redid the outside patio area so now they HAVE TONS of seating area which is great cause before only a few tables but now what a GREAT ADDITION to this already good establishment!!

Regular is a (double patty)
“Three stack” is the go to in my opinion as it’s the perfect amount for the smashed patties!
Fries with a order of cheese sauce

My foodie son heard that BNSD had great burgers, so we headed down to give them a try. I had the Regular Burger without onions, and he had the Three Stack plus an order of fries. They have specialty sodas, and I was feeling nostalgic, so I got a Grape Crush. It took about 20 minutes to get our food. It was hot and fresh. The burgers were juicy with a yummy smashed burger crunch. The flavor palate was reminiscent of a Mc Donald’s cheeseburger with catsup, mustard and pickles, bringing me back to my childhood. The fries were cooked to perfection.

Nah, this is straight up a McDonald’s value menu cheeseburger but 3x more expensive.

I gotta admit, social media influencers did a great job promoting this place.

The patty is so small that it is swallowed up by the bun. Not worth the price. The McDonald’s cheeseburger will fill you up more than this.
