Finally stopped here for breakfast. Very good! We had their most popular plate, the shaved steak omelet! Could have had a little more cheese. I just love a cheesey omelet. It was huge and I’ll have breakfast again tomorrow. The service was excellent and food came out hot and quickly. Our wait staff was very attentive and meet every expectation. We’ll be back again soon. This is a great breakfast nook.

First and foremost the atmosphere was outstanding. Your greeted by the staff, who are such lovely people. When I ordered my food I was surprised at the portion, it was more than enough for my self and a small army. All this to say yo should definitely make it to this little gem and have an awesome time.

Huge shoutout to the team at Carl’s Diner. While everyone else was hunkered down during the storm, they stayed open to make sure the plow drivers and emergency crews were fed and taken care of. There is nothing like a home-cooked meal when you’ve been out on the roads all day. Thank you for being there for the community when we needed it most!

We had breakfast there. The food was outstanding!!! I had breakfast for 2 days later. So much food! We took an hour drive just to get there. We were not disappointed.

Went to Carl’s Oxford Diner with two other hungry diners ~ 8:00 am.
It’s a nice old fashioned diner which I love. There is seating in the front as well as seating in the back.
For breakfast the following was ordered
Coffee ( of course)
Strawberry pancakes with side order of bacon
Shaved Steak and Cheese omelet with bacon and home fries
Scrambled eggs with bacon and home fries
The portions as you see in the pictures are huge. The quality of the food is great. Way too much to eat at one sitting and take home food containers were needed.

This is a basic, cosy diner that serves good food. It looks small but there are tables/booths at the back.
The food is delicious and the portion is big. We had pancakes and bacon, and steak and cheese omelette, and they were all really good.
We have been back a few times and food was good every time Corn beef hash was good, and so as the biscuits and gravy!

The only breakfast diner I will go to. The food is soo good and fresh. The portions are just indescribable, do not eat the day before if you know you are coming to Carls diner. I order the same thing every time I go, shaved steak and cheese omelette. Don’t pass up this diner, it is totally worth the drive. Everyone is very nice and the best part is sitting right up front watching them cook the food to order. Such a great place.
