This spot is a favorite for my boyfriend, and it is easy to see why. The food is affordable and usually comes out quickly, which is always a plus. The only small challenge is hearing clearly while placing an order at the speaker, but overall it is a solid place for a quick and satisfying meal.

I just went through the drive-through less than 10 minutes ago I asked for a cheddar style burger.

Bread uncooked it looks like it’s wheat bread . Burger, sloppy, and appetizing patty burnt in the bottom of the bun also uncooked.

Shorted my Child on her nuggets, french fries no flavor no salt and flimsy, barely fried .

Worker hands me my order with my entire tray, vertical to the ground ??? won’t get a penny for me ever again. Rushed my order for no reason it was a total mess. Worst $9 ever spent

Jonathan did everything in his power to make sure we had a good experience. We had a full car of orders but he was patient, efficient, and made sure everything was correct. When we got to the window he was multitasking very well by handing us our food while communicating with the drive thru and kitchen at the same time. Genuinely one of the best drive thru experiences I’ve ever had. Need more workers like him! We seriously couldn’t stop talking about how impressed we were with him.

This location has really good food! What I can say, is I’ve never had a bad food item here, just avoid the soft drinks, especially later in the evenings if you can.

I returned to the window with a flat drink once, (Pink Lemonade). I heard them shouting for someone to exchange the Pink Lemonade & Fruit Punch because it was out. They closed the window while I waited for a new drink. I heard a drive-thru customer order a Pink Lemonade as well & they hadn’t even changed it out yet, but still proceeded to make, another flat Pink Lemonade & ship it out the other window to him. All the while, yelling it needed to be changed. Yuck! Gross!!

I honestly need to stop ordering drinks out anyways, due to those machines have tons of mold if not cleaned regularly. But, when I try not to order a drink w/ my tray, they say “I must” even though it clearly says on the signage on top of the menu that drinks are optional & a bottled water can be included instead.

On the plus side, whenever I order from here, my food has always been prepared fully cooked & to my liking. With a 1-2 time exception they’ve forgotten or shorted me an item.

They have always hastily replaced or fixed the mess-up as well. I can absolutely appreciate that. Especially since no one wants to waste their hard earned money. Not even if it was easily earned.

I think they do pretty good as far as fast food is concerned. Am I always going to get my food perfect on the 1st go round?

Maybe…Maybe Not…

Things to consider:
It depends on how slammed they are.
Or if they’re short staffed.
Time of day matters.
Who’s working that day, adults/teens/ppl training/first day on the job.

So its very important to check your food before leaving the premises… Always. & not just here, any restaurant you visit honestly. But especially surrounding this location.

A HUGE Warning-
If you do stick around to check your food here, & that’s all you’re doing, you might expect a young, sandy haired fellow, about 5’6″ – 5’10 to approach your car, w/ a knock on your vehicle window.
(Usually after dark, especially weekends, but any day of the week is possible.)
He will say he is Security. I’m not sure if he secures the actual Restaurant or just the Parking Lot like a Meter Maid would, however he caught me off guard because he was dressed down in regular street clothing, & if “Security” was branded anywhere on him I didn’t see it. Due to me quickly choosing a low light parking spot because all other spots were taken & I didn’t plan on being there long.

I cracked my window, very minimal because I was alone, & as a young woman I didn’t feel comfortable. He shouted very loudly, “If you’re not checking your food, you can’t park here!”

Thankfully I was doing just that, & this was how I found out, my P. Lemonade was complete seltzer water.

I also saw him another evening, I do recall it for sure being a weekend, he was directing traffic as to which car could get into which drive-thru lane. He wouldn’t let us drivers/customers choose for ourselves. I am not absolutely certain it was the same guy, but I do remember a Security vest & hat that time.

Otherwise, I do feel that time, his services may have been necessary due to the after club commotion I sometimes see as I ride past . It seemed to keep things organized & help with the chaotic atmosphere.

Lastly, you never know what type of service or attitude you’re going to get at any window at any given time. So don’t have any expectations. Just assume everyone wants to go home & no one wants to be at work.

Know your order if you can, & have your money ready. Please taste your drink before pulling off or walking away.

1st time visitor: Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. It was plenty busy with drive thru business, I walked up to the takeout window.
Ordered the Big Double and shake.
The clerk was pleasant enough and took my order quickly. The guy who cooked the burger brought out a bag and tossed it on the counter. The clerk handed it to me with my shake. The whole process probably took 2 minutes.
When I opened the bag in my office the burger was just sad…charred meat patties.
The shake was good but they didn’t mix it well so all the ingredients were clumped up at the bottom of the cup.

I always enjoy Cookout food, always great for some late night comfort food and all for a reasonably price too! You can use the drive thru, there are two lanes or you can walk up to window and order as well.
The service you get can be a little hit or miss sometimes, but thats with any late night joint.
Just so that folks are aware the walk up window is closed at 9 pm for their safety.

I’m gonna have to give this cookout a two star rating for the simple fact not only are they lazy but also slow and don’t Want to fill your milkshake all the way up therefore instead of paying $4.32 for a full cup milkshake I pay $4.32 for a little over half a cup that isn’t even mixed all the way up I got a peanut butter caramel milkshake and when I got it it don’t even look like it was mixed up it look like all the caramel was just sitting at the top with a club. This cookout is filled with a bunch of clowns. I would not recommend going To this cookout, which is on Sunset Road, I normally go to a cookout every single day and get the same thing a peanut butter caramel milkshake And out of all cookouts, I’ve been to this one is by far the worst one yet I don’t understand how it is still even open

It gets to a point. This is consistently the worst cookout I’ve ever been to. You might as well just make the drive to freedom, university or anywhere else

• The Drive thru employee is not friendly. She didn’t even say hi.
• Order was inaccurate.
• Food was produced in a sloppy fashion.
• Cleanliness is horrible.
• Handed me a cup of soda that had soda all over the side of it. Lady was unapologetic when I brought it to her attention. She just handed over a napkin. Her action said, you wipe it yourself.
• This place is definitely a poor reflection of management.
• I would recommend avoiding this place.

Unlocking this c card.” “ Reminded me “don’t stay too long stopped like that.” Great looking out! Could have been having a stroke or something! Thank you ! MCSD officer.
