Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, our drinks were never refilled and the food was bland and poorly made. Kids noodles were drenched in butter and the chicken in both other dishes was gritty and unpleasant.
Honestly, this place feels like the Temu of Italian food; cheap, disappointing and lacking any real quality.
I’m tired of restaurants thinking it’s OK to serve subpar food and call it Italian. I’d choose Olive Garden over this place any day. We won’t be back.
Usually always had great experience every time…..but this time was different.
Hearing the staff complain about supplies….. or lack there of.
I don’t know if it was the manager making the most noise about it but she was not dressed in the same as the rest of the staff and made it clear she was mad.
It was Valentines day and our waiter was in some sort of hurry to get us out the door. I get if there were people waiting to be seated but there was no line and plenty of seating available. He spent more time leaning against the bar watching the NBA All Star Game than seeing if we wanted anything else….another drink….more water…..deserts. He had to be prompted by my wife to get another (the second) drink.
Appetizers were very good and my dish was good as I usually get the same thing every time I go. Not so much for the Mrs. The protein was dry and she normally doesn’t complain about stuff like that.
I gave 4 stars because of the history.
The host and hostess were very nice and attentive making sure everything was wiped down before we sat.
Maybe it was just a bad day……but being out of products that are on the menu is usually a sign that someone is not doing their job…..and especially on a weekend that has Valentines day.
If this was my first visit it would’ve been 2 stars at best.
It’s really sad to see because I always liked this as an easy option for a good experience…..good service and really good food.
Maybe next time.
It took 45 minutes for our food and then it was luke warm from being under a heat lamp. The chicken Alfredo was dry and didn’t have much flavor. Our drinks never got refilled during our entire visit.
I’m not seeing any future visits anytime soon, if at all.
There was ample parking in the lot- it’s located in a parking complex with a lot of other restaurants and stores. Easy enough.
The store sign was off but they were in fact open. This seems to be a bit smaller location?
There was maybe a five minute wait just for us to have a table cleaned for us. Otherwise it wasn’t a hassle at all.
Staff was friendly and courteous. Very good recommendations.
We tried the deep fried mozzarella balls and we couldn’t recommend these more.
Their homemade bread and oil options were amazing, and they kept them coming.
My partner tried one of their Italian sodas- the dreamsicle and it was like a dessert in a glass.
We each got a pasta dish. I got the Tuscan tortellini with chicken. I picked grilled but it would’ve been better with fried. I also didn’t like the consistency of the tortellini. It was good cheese inside but the outer shell was a bit too chewy & I just didn’t enjoy the dish as much as i thought I would’ve. It come from an an Italian city whose pasta is unrivalled so it’s hard for me to find places I’d rather a five star. We had also ordered a calzone to go which was forgotten about but by the time we were finished we opted not to bother- we were stuffed.
The restaurant was clean. Atmosphere was nice.
Not bad for a chain.
Very extensive menu with options for everyone. Next time I’d try one of their tasty looking salads.
Would return!
Going to start with the good first. The staff, despite being clearly overwhelmed, were polite. Even our waiter, who was working his first shift.
My young son wanted to try Babbo for his birthday, so we tried to hang in there, for him.
However, the service was painfully slow on a Monday night. We had to wait about 15 minutes before we were greeted and then seated a few minutes later. We asked to be seated on the patio. The tables were wobbly and the drinks didn’t like that, so they splashed on the table… it took about 15 minutes to get someone to help wipe it up. We were there over an hour before we received food and anyone with young kids knows sitting in one place for an hour can be difficult.
There was a particularly disrespectful (and maybe on something?) couple sharing the patio with us blasting music from their phones and smoking, so we finally decided to leave.
Our food arrived as we were fleeing, so we paid and took it home. Our kids thought the food was decent, but my wife and I we’re not impressed. The only thing I thought was good was the Italian Sausage. The bread and pasta were unfortunately not anything to write home about.
