Incredible Taste, but Baffling Execution on Decor
Let’s start with the positive, the cake itself was amazing. Every guest loved it, and there wasn’t a single complaint regarding the flavor or texture. If you are looking for a delicious cake, this bakery knows what they are doing in the kitchen.
The Bad part is the Decoration & Finish.
We provided a simple reference image of a three-tier cake and asked for it to be recreated as a two-tier. Despite paying a $60 design fee, the results were deeply disappointing. Over 70% of the cake was left plain white. When we questioned this, the staff claimed that because the reference photo only showed the front, they didn’t bother decorating the sides or back. Even the top of the cake was left completely blank. The frosting had several visible cracks and uneven spots.
Because we picked it up last minute, we had no choice but to take it. We ended up spending a significant amount of time salvaging the cake with our own props just to make it presentable for the event. The person who took our order never mentioned that the design would be limited strictly to the “camera angle” of the reference photo.
Finally I would actually order from here again because the taste is that good, but I would never trust them with a custom design again. If you order from them, get a plain cake and plan to decorate it yourself, or be extremely specific that you expect the entire cake to be finished!

We frequent this bakery also every week or ten days for our bread needs. We usually get our Pav buns and sandwich breads from here as they are freshly made at all times.
They have a good collection of colorful cakes and chaat items. We tried the Kutchi Daabeli recently and it was spot on.
Ambience is good, decent seating capacity and a vast parking area are other features.

Their eggless cakes are one of the best that they have to offer. Some of my favorites are choco delight and royal cassata. I recently ordered tres leches from here and it was so bad that it does not even taste anyway near tres leches. Please don’t order that. I had to throw away the whole cake. Other than that, their masala puff could be better with regards to taste of masala. Otherwise the puff pastry is good.

Got bread from their store couple of days ago. Expiry date mentioned on the packet is March 11, 2026 but today (March 9,2026) when I opened the packet to have it for dinner, I found white fuzzy patches inside when I cut the pav in half. Don’t go by their Expiry date promise.

I’ve always loved atul and so when i found out there was one opening in edison i was so excited! their pastries are so good and fresh and they always have such good flavors! their cream rolls are such good snack too and even the sandwiches they sell are so good!! i’d def recommend coming here if you want to get a good sweet or savory treat!!

Bought a strawberry delight cake yesterday. When I cut it it’s moldy and smells funny.. have been going to Atul bakery for few years. Of late their cakes are dry and rubbery. This is a cherry on top for me. Never going to Atul bakery. Very disappointed in their quality.

I recently visited Atul Bakery and was disappointed with my experience. I bought a Chocolate Bite Pound Cake, and the “best before” date had already passed (09/21/2025). I also noticed some brownies and bread were hard and did not seem fresh. Atul Bakery is known for its quality breads and buns, so this was surprising. We also take dine in for the puff and it was Chinese and the Ratlami sev puff in the Ratlami sev i get the bad taste i feel to much oil in puff &Sev so take attention on this.
In addition, when I asked about customizing a cake, the staff at the counter did not respond properly and seemed uninterested in helping. Specifically the girls who is there . I hope the bakery pays more attention to checking product dates, ensuring freshness, and improving customer service.
