This is definitely our go to pizza place. The specialty pizzas are SO good and the option to do half and half gives everyone what they are craving. Customer service has improved by a long shot and I appreciate the staff and the care they take in all aspects of our dining experience. I absolutely recommend them, IF they add a BLT pizza option to the menu

Update* listen we go here at least once a week. Staff is GREAT and inviting, pizza is FIRE and we love it here!!!! Keep making pizza and cheese bread like this and we’re gonna keep coming back with more money!

Stopped here with a friend while driving through. Absolutely some of the BEST food we’ve gotten to try. It may have been the 10 hours of driving, but i highly recommend this place to anyone who wants amazing food and service!!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Detroit Pizza in Dearborn Heights. Unfortunately, I found a roach in my food. This is not only unhygienic, but also absolutely unacceptable. I hope the management addresses this issue immediately, because no one should have to go through something like that.”

I am in town visiting and hoping to get a taste of detroit style pizza. Unfortunately, this place only served that style with a large version, so I opted for a NY slice instead. Overall, it’s pretty tasty and well cooked. It’s worth a look for travelers, but there are other options out there.

Here is another Detroit style pizza place crossed off my list. I got the Carnivore pizza Detroit style. It was delicious but I think they forgot to add the sesame to the crust. The only problem that I have is that I had to order a large to have it Detroit style square pizza. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was nice.

Saw this place mentioned on Instagram & had to give it a try.

We got a 12 slice New York style pizza with pepperoni & sausage. Even my picky eater ate his whole slice (rare, even with pizza).

Amazing pizza.
We got the cheese pizza with beef pepperoni NY style and it was so good.
The pizza itself had so much flavor, the sauce was just right, the cheese was fresh and the right amount.
The beef pepperoni was incredible, nice crunch. And the dough was on point to.
Prices are good too.
Overall you have to try this place.

I was really excited to finally enjoy pepperoni again since this place offers halal pizzas. That excitement quickly turned into disappointment with my recent order. I purchased two pizzas yesterday for my family, and unfortunately, the quality was far below what I expected.

The toppings were minimal but tasty… but the crust was extremely tough so much so that it was difficult to even bite through. Hoping to salvage the experience, I reheated a slice in the air fryer the next day (something I often do with Jet’s pizza). Instead, the texture and taste reminded me of school cafeteria pizza, which was not at all what I anticipated.

My entire family shared the same reaction. Everyone complained about the taste and texture, and the pizzas went mostly untouched. At nearly $30, it was very frustrating to see so much food end up in the trash.

I don’t know if the decline in quality is due to rising costs, a change in suppliers, or something else, but whatever the reason, the end result was disappointing. I had truly looked forward to supporting this place and enjoying their halal options, but after this experience, I’m hesitant to return. Food should bring joy and comfort, not frustration, especially at this price point.

For Detroit style pizza in Detroit, this was just okay. On this Monday night, it was completely empty inside (I suppose everyone takes pizza to go) but there wasn’t much activity inside at all. We almost thought it was closed pulling up to the parking lot.

The pizza took like 20+ minutes to come out. The crust was crispy, thick, and very enjoyable but if you’re trying to get the best in town, this won’t come close.
