Cuquitas Mexican Restaurant was a win. The beef flautas were crispy and flavorful, the beans and rice were good, and the michelada came in a big glass and was tasty. Upbeat, low-noise atmosphere made it an easy, enjoyable stop.

This place is always popping on Sunday mornings. I go there for the menudo and those fire tortillas with the butter. The servers are pretty great, I’ve only ever had a not great experience once but other than that, I’ve only ever had great service!

One word. Authentic. The caldo de res is as good as how my mom cooks it and the flan was top tier!
They also serve fresh corn tortillas, but the best thing about Cuquita’s was the warm hospitality and care of the server and staff, it literally makes you feel at home. This is a little gem in Dallas.

Absolutely delicious! Everything is made fresh, not from a package. Real, authentic Mexican food! The decor and music adds to a fun atmosphere, and the owner is a wonderful, hard working woman! Grateful you are part of the Farmers Branch community

Very cute place and a really nice server. I ordered the Fajita nachos and they were really not good. These were commercial chips out of the bag, no real seasoning to the Fajita beef or the bean paste. A lot of bland cheese and some bland guacamole. The sour cream had the most flavor. It made me sad.
