Social Profile:

Lucius Q is a traditional barbecue joint with a modern-industrial vibe located in one of Cincinnati’s hottest up-and-coming neighborhoods. By bringing together the best barbecue styles from around the country, Lucius Q brings together people from every walk of life in a way that few restaurants can. Call it comfort food. Call it soul food. The approach is simple. We source our meats from the butcher shop around the corner, smoke them low and slow over oak and cherry wood, and serve them with traditional southern sides. Stop in for some barbecue and bourbon, or contact us to see how we can help you with your next party.

Smoked meats & craft beer served in an upbeat, industrial-chic venue with a patio & local bands.

Surprisingly quiet on a Saturday night, but that meant quick service for me! Went with the brisket sandwich and the Lucius Hot BBQ sauce paired with collard greens as my side. Food came out very quickly and was very good! The brisket was seasoned really well and I loved the sauce. It definitely wasn’t hot though, but that’s cool.

the Broccoli salad was swimming in the sauce. The brisket was ok but dry and not warm and the sauce with it was nothing like BBQ, more like mustard.

Walked in and server told us to sit anywhere so we went upstairs where some others were as there was only one table open downstairs. Then we were forgotten about. We ended up going back down stairs after about 10 minutes and the server saw us an apologized all night and gave us a drink on the house. It happens. Food was good. Drinks were good. Service was good once we got it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Service for Friendsgiving!

I had an incredible experience with Lucius Q while getting everything together for my Friendsgiving event. Huge shoutout to Tom, Jeffrey, and Amanda — they went above and beyond to help me out.

I ordered two turkeys, a pound of brisket, and four sides, and everything was prepared perfectly. The food was outstanding, and the service was even better. They made the whole process smooth, easy, and stress-free.

I truly appreciate the professionalism and the great energy from the whole team. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Lucius Q to everyone I know.

Thank you again for helping make my Friendsgiving a success!

Our company ordered catering through the OTR/Pendleton location and they were wonderful! Our original delivery date hit on a big snow day, so things got moved around and their crew was so flexible on pushing the date back! Food was delicious!

We were trying something new. We were not impressed. We had brisket sandwich and smoked turkey sandwich. The brisket sandwich had more fat than meet. Smoked turkey was tender and good. The sides greens and cole slaw wasn’t good but it had good portions. I couldn’t eat the greens because they were too salty. Coleslaw didn’t have enough mayo which made it dry. We wasted $36 on this meal. Oh the they didn’t give us any barbecue sauce we thought this was a bbq joint. Never again

Came here after watching an episode of Diners Drive ins and Dives…sadly we were extremely disappointed. The service staff were wonderful!!!! There were 2 tables of customers that had both already eaten when we arrived and still waited over 20 mins for our food. My husband got the Pittmaster platter with smoked turkey and burnt ends. The turkey and red beans and rice were good, but the burnt ends were swimming in sauce. I got the Pendleton Porker sandwich and had to order my side separately at an extra cost. The sandwich was mediocre and not the sandwich that was shown on DDD and about half the size of it( you can see it was limp bacon, not pork belly) and the pulled pork was barely there, but the red beans and rice were flavorful. The rib tips that we ordered were nothing but cartilage and not very good. Unless you order the red beans and rice to go, I wouldn’t waste my time or money here.

My friend came in town for Sunday Funday and he was craving BBQ. I have yet to try any other BBQ spots here in the city, mostly the suburbs and I’ve lived in the Cincy/NKY area since this past August . It was the first place to pop up on my Apple Maps so we decided to go and give it a shot. When we first walked in, we almost didn’t stay because there was maybe one a couple that was sitting down and just the workers, at first so we waited at the host station which is down the steps when you first come in. The host told us to sit anywhere and we did . The food and the drinks did not disappoint at all . My friend had the platter and the steak quesadilla special they had for $8.99 and I had the Pendleton Porker which was once featured on the Food Network show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” which is one of my favorite shows as well . We were there for less than an hour and the waitress was amazing as well, I believe her name was Jamela. She definitely kept us in the loop with the happenings in the city for us as well. Great food and great atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back soon!

You gotta stop in here if you’re in Cincinnati. Excellent BBQ & cheap beers! There is always sports on & looks like there is live music at night (maybe on weekends). The pork belly melts in your mouth. We got the Pen and the Farm to split for 10 people, and it was definitely enough food. The mac and cheese was also fantastic.
