Portions are pathetic compared to 10 years ago. Vadnais Heights location seems the worse of the few locations I have visited in North metro. If I was the manager here or if I was Chipotle I would definitely have a chat with the employees and tell them to be generous with their portions. These skimpy portions have caused people like me to not eat at Chipotle as often as I used to. $12 each for these. The bowls from at least 10 years ago would hardly fit the lid on, they were so full. Disappointing.

I ordered the new 4-6 serving catering and the kid said he “didn’t know it was even a thing” and the quantity of ingredients were laughable I added them to this review. I contacted customer service and they said the best they could do was a free entree. I paid almost $60 for basically the amount of 1 singular bowl (the pictures in the advertisement show everything is filled adequately)
I mistakenly went back to this location because of the convenience and my pick up order was supposed to be ready at 7:50 and it wasn’t ready until 8:15 PM. I was in a rush which is why I ordered it ahead of time there was no one in the restaurant and only a couple online orders.
I will stop ordering from this location even though it is more convenient to me.

I love Chipotle, but I have had multiple issues with the Vadnais Height location getting online orders correct. This time, I ordered 3 kids quesadilla meals. Got home, opened them, no quesadiila, just a plain hard taco shell, no filling.

This chipotle used to be good 5-10 years ago but has slowly fallen down hill. Constant lines, always filthy inside, and if you order online you’re going to have to wait 40+ minutes for your food. The only luck I have is coming here around noon and even then it’s not worth it. Easily the worst chipotle I ever step foot into. Definitely done giving them my money.

This location is trash. I ordered ahead with a 3:20 pickup. Walked in with 3-4 groups in like with a single employee helping them. 5 more employees doing busy work in back. They do not utilize the pickup shelves. 3 people walked by me multiple times and didn’t ask if I needed anything. 15 minutes after my pickup time a Dasher came and was more assertive to get a back room employee’s attention (who he said was the manager). I’m pretty sure my food was sitting there that since the pickup time because it was cold as ice. I’ve experienced crap service here before, but gave them grace because it was busy. It wasn’t busy today, they just didn’t care to help their order ahead customers apparently. That manager should be fired if that’s indeed who helped me. He walked by multiple times as I stood staring at the pickup shelf, clearly waiting on my order.

Have had so many bad experiences, from different levels, from food to service, over the years at this particular location that we keep asking ourselves ehy we keep going back. Probably due to hope that it would improve and because it is the only one closer to us. We always wonder if it is the management of this location the issue because other locations are usually great.

This is my third order this month and third horrible experience at this location. Sadly my kids love chipotle so reluctantly I continue to go here as it’s the closest to us. This week was her bday and we had two parties with chipotle, her choice. 5 nights ago we ordered for delivery (didn’t realize they use doordash when you go through their app). We had 7 meals. When it arrived 20 minutes late, the bag was dripping as the dressing was opened and spilled all over everything. The burritos weren’t wrapped completely. The quesadilla was on the bottom so the lid smooshed the sour cream out the sides and salsa oozing out as well. We were missing a side of guacamole $$$ which was for the birthday girl of course. And since it was so late, our food was cold.
Then we had a sleepover last night. 8 girls. I placed the order for pickup this time to ensure nothing would be leaking or missing. The app said ready at 7:50. So I got there at 7:48. There were a few people in line and 4 people waiting for pickup.
My app said my order was ready and pickup confirmed. Weird. So I asked the guy at the register. Told him my name, he looked around and said he needed a minute. Ok?
Then two door dashers arrived after me and I watched the cashier instruct the line to make their orders. The other people waiting and I were a bit perturbed. Then more people went up asking about their orders too. Then Inbetween customers in line, the line staff were instructed to make the pickup orders. I still waited. The line was getting longer and the walking customers were getting preferred treatment so I got in line as I didn’t see anyone making my 8 bowls.
8:20, a half hour later, I get to the window. I tell them my order was supposed to be ready 30 minutes ago and I show him my phone order. They all look around. Several people dig in a large “catering” box. “Yes this is it it’s ready. We just need to heat up tortillas for the order”. That box was sitting there the entire time I was waiting. With our food in it. Waiting for three tortillas. He warmed the tortillas, balled them up in tinfoil and tossed them in. I asked how long my food had been sitting there and he just looked at me.
So of course all the food was cold except for three half wrapped balls of tortillas. Nothing had fajita veggies in it. I’m done with this place. The rudeness of the staff, the poorly run line and poor food quality seems to be the norm here. Not to mention two weeks ago we placed an order on the app went to pick it up and there was a sign on the door that they were CLOSED!
We have other places near us that make delicious Mexican food.

It looks like this particular Chipotle needs some help. I am done going here until they can fix whatever went wrong. Seems like a lot of other people have had bad experiences lately, too. Twice now my burrito bowl was cold, chips were cold, queso was cold. Not enough meat. I didn’t get the guacamole I paid for. Tonight, the store was closed for dine in / ordering. I had to order online…I should have taken that as a sign to save my money. 🙁

My first time ordering from here. The beef bowl was wrong, there was no rice, no beans and no lettuce and they added sour cream which I did not order. The chicken bowl rice was really hard like it was not cooked. Such a waste of my money. I am going to disputed, if they dont want to refund me the money back. I dont recommend anybody going here.
