Truly the best Pho in the city! It’s fresh and delicious. You can choose your protein and broth. I love the Marin and a tofu with beef broth. I think it’s the best! The restaurant is locally owned by a husband and wife team, and they are super nice and dedicated restaurant owners to make your experience the best every time. I enjoy eating it on Saturday after my long run.

The guy working the front today March 4th around 8:30pm… horrible service! I was picking up a to-go order and no greeting or response.. *mind you, I said “hi”* he seemed miserable to be working there. At least acknowledge the customer instead of chit chatting with your fellow coworkers! He seemed bothered by me requesting my pick up order…

My first time trying pho and my first time here at 6-1. I knew what I wanted but ordered the wrong thing ‍♀️ the manager was so kind! He remade what I actually wanted and didn’t charge me for it even though it was my mistake! The customer service was great and the food was excellent! The chicken broth was AMAZING. Very flavorful like previous comments have said, one reason why I picked this place to try. 6-1-Pho did not disappoint, I will definitely be back!

The food at 61Pho is always so fresh and flavorful! I literally dream about their broth in the winter—it’s that good. My go-to is the rice bowl with the pork egg rolls—OMG, the best! Add the spicy mayo and it’s game over.

The owners are always onsite and are amazing—so kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their food. The whole team makes this place feel special every single time.

And don’t forget to grab one of their cookies on your way out—SO CUTE and SO GOOD!

6-1-Pho offers a nice casual atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is friendly, and quick. The ingredients are fresh and the broth is also very tasty. My only gripe is the beef can be fatty/chewy so I prefer to get the chicken bowl. If you’re not bothered by that though, you can’t really go wrong with anything here!

Edit: I go here about once a week, and the other times I’ve been here, the beef has been better. Changed from 4⭐ to 5⭐. An excellent place to eat

Something about pho is sacred—it takes time, layers, and patience. This spot didn’t have any of that. Felt more like a Chipotle line: scoop, dump, move along. The broth had no depth, the Vietnamese iced coffee was flat-out bad. Honestly, I’d rather hit Buckeye Pho or PHO Chef.

6-1-Pho is the restaurant I most regularly frequent in Columbus. I like it a lot and the prices are good, the food is even better and the workers are always friendly.

What I like about this place is the food can satisfy a meat eater, a vegan, or a gluten free person all the same. I generally get the marinated tofu pho and my partner the chicken pho- both are great and I think their broth is perfect. They started using flatter noodles which are less good than the more round noodles they used to use so I hope they switch back!

I get to go and they have this down to a science- they have a good packing system that makes sure you don’t spill and the food tastes good when you get it home.

I had to knock this place down a few stars after numerous disappointing visits. The broth had changed and it’s no longer very flavorful. The noodles they’ve been using lately are more square shaped and dry, the mouthfeel is less good. And the peanut sauce with the spring rolls has changed to a weird peanut paste that tastes bad. So three ingredients have changed for the worse and they also charge 3% for credit card purchases.

We’ve been coming here less this past year but today we talked about turning the page and finding a new place.

The atmosphere was pretty cute and quiet however, i placed my order online and went to pick it up the staff was a little cold. I asked about purchasing extra broth the lady told me it was 5.75 so i decided against it. Which im happy i did because there was an overwhelming flavor of cinnamon and anise which is normal for pho to have a little but it was not my favorite pho place ive ever been too. If thats something you look for i hope this helps. Also i really dont appreciate the passive aggressive or sarcastic feedback from the restaurant after reading the reviews.

I highly recommend this Pho place. Their beef pho is really tasty with decent soup. The beef tastes great by dipping in the sauce of sriracha and hoisin sauce. The size is large and the price is great. It is like an American type pho, but it is better than some of those Vietnamese ones. Definitely will try their rice combos.
Finally, I tried their grilled chicken rice which also tasted amazing. I can say everything is fabulous. They also have lunch specials, kids meals , and happy hour specials. 6-1-Pho is one of my favorite places in Columbus.

Food is good, but the prices are a little high.

I got the beef PHO with raw steak – I wish the steak was sliced a little thinner and not so well cooked. They put hot broth (or water?) in the bowl once, then drain it, and add hot broth again. This resulted in the noodles being a little overcooked.

Also, the broth seems a little thin, would like a richer and more complex flavor. Plus I don’t think they put any crispy shallots?!?

I also wish there was slightly more protein, but, the $4.50 additional price for “extra meat” was just too much considering how much the soup costs to begin with. (And it looked like only a couple ounces, possibly even less ‍♂️)

I can get an amazing bowl of TONKOTSU RAMEN, in the Tokyo airport for substantially less money – why are prices so high here in the US?!?

Anyway, the the food is good and the only price that really upset me was the “Vietnamese Coffee” which was disappointing and thin – I do recommend trying this place for yourself at least once, and I will be going back – just not particularly often, unless they make some improvements.

I find myself coming here to 6-1-PHO because my old favorite PHO place in the North Market has really declined in both quality and value since the ownership changed several years ago – that place USED to be an easy five stars.

Update: currently, their prices don’t seem so bad because prices at other places have gone up. However my earlier complaints about the beef being sliced too thick remain because it’s not tender once it’s cooked by the broth. Also, the broth is still a little disappointing – I had the beef broth and it just wasn’t as satisfying as other Phos I’ve had. I think they should have a Vietnamese grandma come and teach them how to make it better perhaps? Maybe they need to use more beef bones? Perhaps a touch more fish sauce?

For sure the broth would need to be adjusted depending on whether the customer ordered it with raw beef vs with cooked & seasoned meat, maybe that was why it was lacking?

My friend said his cold noodle dish with chicken was very good though.
