For a New England restaurant swamped with tourists during the busy season, the hostess kept her cool and sat people efficiently. The gluten free crust was soft and pillowy and better than almost every crust I’ve ever had. The regular gluten full pizza was « mid » according to my dining companion and the red sauce left something to be desired. The standard cheese pizza was quite greasy. Overall 5/5 for gluten free and 3/5 for the regular pizza quality.

Visited while on a trip up to Salem, MA from Florida. I’m a sucker for a funky pizza, this place did not let me down! We got the Audrey II and Pickle Rick pizzas and boy they were DELICIOUS! Pickles on pizza??? 100% yes! Loved the vibe and the staff were great!

Great atmosphere in this little pizza shop. Fun space theme is carried through in the menu, and the signed autograph pictures of sci-fi celebrities who have visited. Mixed drink are a fun addition to the menu as well. They change a portion of the menu out seanoably, but standards stay, like the Nick Fury we had. Recommended!

Decent place overall! The pizza was good, and the garlic knots were good although a little bit dry. The drinks was very good. Overall, a nice place in downtown Salem!

If you’re looking for gluten-free options, The Flying Saucer is a must-visit. It has a calm atmosphere with the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The food took a bit longer to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. The Gluten Free McFly was just as described and had great flavor. Although it was light on toppings, that helped keep the dish balanced. The crust, which can be tricky to achieve with a gluten-free base, had a good crispiness and was easy to fold! I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I love it here. Single pizza slices are pretty good but benefit from a “well done” modifier. Cheese ratio is great, pepperoni is flavorful, and honestly just hanging out here is so fun. It’s a great spot. Looking forward to ordering a whole pie.

Edit 6 months later: I love it here, and if you order a whole pizza it’s actaully way better than a single slice and is amazing. Audrey II is my favorite and Flying Saucer is my favorite pizza in Salem.

I didn’t enjoy this pizza what so ever…. I order the “Audrey ll” small and paid for add ons and they only gave me the add ons and didn’t even make the pizza the way it states on the menu……. Also, when the order name was stated to the person at the front, she grabbed the order checked it and started making fun of the order name to another customer.

The order name is “Gluten Allergy” for safety reasons. I wouldn’t expect a place who has gluten free friendly foods to be made fun of especially in such an unprofessional way. Very disappointed with the customer service.

Went here twice during my Salem trip! The pizza here is great, pretty similar to NYC style. Crust was crispy and had good balance— not too thick or thin. The sauce had good flavor, but with a tinge of mild spice. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff, too.

It’s def the best pizza I had in Salem (tried a couple places to compare).

I tried the classic cheese and margarita. The cheese slice had a little too much cheese and not enough sauce, and the margarita had not quite enough cheese (spotted cheese slices). However both were still very delicious, next time I would just make a little modification request.

You can even eat this crap full grease to the point it’s dripping off. Pizza was not hot like it just came out….they told me I could pay cash so when I was forced into credit the change they were getting to keep 8 dollars that didn’t happen the person waiting on me was eating there food right out in open not cleaning hands or anything who ever owns this you need to just cancel out the credit card transaction cause this is a joke. …..

Great pizza with so many vegetarian and vegan options!

We ordered the Audrey II vegetarian version with vegan chorizo! It comes with arugula and a balsamic sauce that is so tasty!!

The dough is so nice you can eat it by itself and it will taste good

And the decoration inside is super cool, loved the place!
