Went here for an early dinner about a month ago, really nice place. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet, inviting, and cozy. I ordered a ceasar salad which was delicious and made perfect. I also ordered a chicken wrap & fries and gravy. The Fries were nice and crispy, the gravy delicious, the wrap was a nice size only thing I didn’t think it would of came with dark meat usually every place I go has white meat in the wrap like chicken breast, I’m not a fan of dark meat so it was kinda a disappointment but it was still tasty and made good. The waitress was very kind, friendly, attentive. I would go back here again and try out a few other items on the menu.

You definitely want to come here. Half chicken with potatoes arrived quick and went down quick. Portion was filling and absolutely delicious. Was not overcooked but definitely was full of flavour.

We were in Hamilton for the day and decided to stop in to this place for a late lunch. We had very friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice. We ordered a full chicken with 3 sides and tried the brisket poutine. Four of us were stuffed and we had leftovers!! A definite gem in Hamilton 🙂 Flavours were fantastic.

Chicken is good. It’s chicken with crispy charred bits. Dips are good. But the Salad, Slaw and Potatoes makes this place better than other chicken joints like the big chain!! You won’t be disappointed unless you are going in thinking they can turn a roasted chicken into a gourmet steak. No pics, sorry. It was just chicken….

I recently went here out of curiosity. I ordered poutine with beef brisket. I believe it was the best poutine I have ever had in my life. But if eating the poutine and beef brisket doesn’t cause a heart attack, the price will. With tax and tip, it was over $40. And that was without even buying something to drink. So, over $40 for what was, in essence, fast food in a sit-down environment. I live in Toronto, which is considered expensive. And I think of the irony. A Toronto person goes to Hamilton and is shocked by how overpriced a restaurant is!

Charred has the best rotisserie chicken in town! It’s always impeccable, regardless of what I’m getting – my favourite is probably the chicken sandwich as a wrap, but their wings are absolutely to die for, and so are their poutine, caesar salad, and pretty much everything else. Not only that, but the staff and the owner are all knowledgeable, friendly, and the hospitality is always excellent. Highly recommended on all fronts!!

The chicken was so dry it had a grainy texture between your teeth. It even had a gamey taste, like like was just barely expired. Service and atmosphere were fine. The waitress was friendly and attentive. My partner and I split a chicken poutine. I had a beer, and she had a cider. The bill was 52 dollars. We felt ripped off and that we wasted our 1 night a week we can afford to go out and share a dinner.

Absolutely fantastic! Labour Day lunch really was a fantastic experience, owner asked us if we liked it , and interacted with us , waitress fantastic and food absolutely mind blowing ! Two chicken poutine’s and the taste was out of this world . Really quality food here for sure and the staff went above and beyond .
