Service was a little slow on a rainy Sunday afternoon but very friendly and nice. Food was average. Ordered seasonal Pumpkin Spice Churro Bites with Cream Cheese. None of our food was hot (like it was ready and brought to the table way later) but still ate, I was starving. Would have enjoyed the fondue and pretzels way more if it was served hot.

This place has some great food at reasonable prices! My husband and I have been frequenting here as of late. The waitresses are always personable and helpful. Any time we’ve had an issue, it has been handled in a friendly manner. Service is quick. They have some pretty fun beverages, too! Their turkey sandwich, which has cranberry relish on it, is so tasty and not dry like others I’ve had! It and the reuben are two of my favorites!

The staff were lovely but they were out of a surprisingly large number of menu items. The food that did come was average. My cocktail was tasty (a Manhattan). I enjoyed the patio seating quite a bit.

This is a small pub located close to PSU and not far from Burnside. Its a typical Mcmenamins and has a cozy atmosphere. Tables are usually sticky so be warned.

The beer and cider selection is not huge as some of the other McMenamins in the Portland area, but whatever they have on offer is great. For food, there are actual dinner options, and not just bar food. I liked the hearty soup and sandwich combos. I always tend to go for the flights, that way you can sample a good variety. The limited edition pumpkin cider for fall was my fave, sad that its gone now. The open seating area in the garden is charming, but the interiors of the bar have a great decor as well, with placards with Dutch street names hanging at regular intervals. All the servers are always nice. Closeness to PSU makes it a great option for relaxation after classes.

I had a burger and sweet potato fries , those were the best fries I’ve ever had!!! . We went after lunchtime so it wasn’t very busy and got great service. We had our kids 3 yr, 4 yr and a baby and they were very accommodating. Great pub!!
