Stopped by this gem while traveling. The awesome reviews were spot on. Wonderful food and service. We enjoyed the southern home cooked options and felt like we were eating at Grandmas on Sunday after church. Stopping back everytime we go through Bowie.

“I can’t say enough good things about Longhorn Cafe! It’s the perfect family-friendly spot with an all-you-can-eat buffet that can’t be beat—just $10 per person for unlimited trips! The food is always fresh and delicious—I especially loved the catfish and chicken fried steak. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and they really make you feel at home. The only downside is their shorter hours—they close around 2 or 3 p.m. daily—but everything else is just perfect. Highly recommend this place!”

This is a great country style place to eat. The food from the buffet is home style cooking and is very good. The environment is cozy country with very friendly service. Our waitress, Faith, was very helpful and pleasant. You will never get caught with an empty tea glass when Faith is taking care of you!

Food was good. There was a wide variety to choose from. Our super picky grandson found a few things he liked. The cobbler was more overcooked than I like. The desert that looked like banana pudding tasted lemony lol. The soft serve was a nice finish. Good food for a good price. The servers were super sweet too.

I love this place. Affordably priced lunch buffet with good home style cooking. 2 can dine for $20, including your drink. Whether you decide on the buffet or order from the menu, you can’t go wrong. I definitely recommend the Longhorn Cafe.

Food is so so so good it’s cheap fresh big portions the buffets mmmmmmmm. Come check this place out u won’t be disappointed at all this is the first time in history of a resturant I’ve ordered what I wanted and imagined the food and it’s like they read minds here it was perfect 10 cooked and I’m super picky the owners can cook the staff is nice faith was so super nice helpful respectful sweet and everything in between she is a super star waitress I will be back and I will tell everybody about this place

Well I would say at first at first glance the food looked great but after tasting it was awesome. The sides like the corn and green beans tasted like moms home cooking the buffet was everything you want in home cook HOT MEAL we even ice cream and cobbler for cherry and apple for the price it’s worth coming I WILL BE BACK . The knock I give it for not giving it 5 stars would be the customer service it could’ve been better didn’t make me feel welcome had to ask to get things I needed
