Four of us went to Acre while attending a swim meet down in Auburn. A well recommended restaurant, I was eager to try it out. For the table, we shared a cheese board, which had the interesting addition of peanut brittle besides the typical cheese and cracker type affair. For the four of us, the pimento cheese was definitely a stand out, and I would order a side of that next time all by itself! I ended up ordering the “Redfish on the Half Shell,” which had “deckhand butter“ on top and a small assortment of potatoes. The potatoes were fairly crispy and not as soft on the inside as I would’ve hoped for, but still tasty enough. The fish was cooked perfectly, blackened, and moist, but the overall seasoning was too salty for my taste, and my friend who got the same dish felt the same way. Blackening is a great seasoning, but when the overpowering taste is salt, it is probably time to taper it back a little!

The Frank Family Cabernet my friend had was excellent, and even available in the 375 mil size, which is a convenient way to get fresh bottle taste when you don’t want to have to drink four glasses with a full-size bottle or get a single glass, which may taste a bit oxidized if the wine has been open for more than a day.

I think overall, the food was high-quality, the service good, and I enjoyed it enough to recommend them.

The answer is ~ yes. Without hesitation. Prioritize a night out here. Wait staff is so helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. The only strange part was the parking situation, ha. I don’t want to ruin it for you, so I’ll let you experience first hand. Would go during peach season if able!

Had a lovely dinner with my daughter. Such a cute quaint restaurant. I love all the different areas to eat including a patio. The ambiance is lovely. We had a reservation so were seated quickly. The menu has a great variety of options and I love that it is farm to table. We chose to have the Mapleleaf Farms duck breast with goat cheese risotto. We also started with a charcuterie board of different cheeses. The duck was perfectly cooked and the flavors with the goat cheese, risotto or amazing. Refinished with a peanut butter pie, which was extremely decadent and filling. It was a lovely night and will definitely come back to dine again.

My Fiance and I went there for dinner and had an amazing time! Neither of us had been before. Our waitress Sky was so kind and attentive, and once the staff found out we were celebrating our engagement they helped us celebrate to the max. We got fried green tomatoes for our appetizer and that was delicious. Our entrees were the strip sirloin and Duck breast and both us of wanted more after eating it. Then we decided to splurge and get the dessert board and coffee and WOW. Every dessert on there was amazing. They also slipped in an extra dessert on there for us since we were celebrating. Overall everyone was so incredibly kind and welcoming from the valet, to the hostesses, our waitress, and the rest of the staff. It was such a sweet way for us to celebrate!

Great experience overall.

The appetizer (a seafood option—I forget the name) was packed with flavor and a strong start to the meal. The strawberry salad was also fantastic. I had the tenderloin for my entrée, and it was cooked perfectly—very tender and flavorful, though it could’ve used just a touch more salt. Still, excellent overall.

For dessert, I had a sampler with cake, brownie, and peanut butter cake. The regular cake was my favorite; the others were good but just not my personal taste.

Service was friendly and attentive throughout. My whiskey cocktail was just okay—nothing special, but acceptable.

The location is beautiful with a great vibe inside and on the patio. Definitely worth a visit.

I do not normally start a review about food with the bread that comes first before your entree. But…the sour dough bread, heavily buttered, is placed on their hickory smoked grill and that extra flavoring kicks the taste up to the next level! I believe I could have ordered more bread and just ate that alone for an entire meal. However, we did order scallops and the duck breast which were cooked to perfection in their own special way. The online menu better describes the additional ingredients than I could do but the meal was very sumptuous.

The atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. The fried green tomato appetizer with crab was a standout, and the shrimp rigatoni was delicious. The duck entrée didn’t quite hit the mark for me, but overall, a great experience — I’ll definitely be back.

Gave 5⭐️ for the overall experience. The food was extremely tasty, just too salty for me. Ordered the sunday brunch menu (shrimp and grits, green fried tomatoes). Service was excellent, also the reason why the overall experience was a 5!

My wife and I went here to eat dinner and heard it was a great place. We made a reservation and we attempted to check in two minutes early and the hostess would not seat us, she made us step back and wait outside. Then, she checked in a group of about 8 people who arrived after us and by the time she seated them we were not taken to our seat until about 6 minutes past our reservation. I have no problem waiting but the principal of this irritated me, while she was not very friendly either. What made it funny was the table she sat us at was open the entire time. Once we were seated the service was good, the food tasted good but the portion was very small for what we paid. I won’t be returning. To me it is not worth my time and money. I probably would have had a much better experience had the hostess not been so rude.
