Clearly the most disastrous Chinese buffets in existence within North America. Came here with high hopes. Left with a stomach full of disappointment and potential food poisoning. Cold food. Overcooked fried items. Bland food with many different pans tasting exactly the same. No sweet and sour chicken, no egg drop soup, no Gen Tso. No amout of MSG could mask the slop that was offered. I could not even finish my plate. Never again. Heard the place was closing in less than a month. I get that the owner is retiring. Still, it would seem as if he already gave up with the doors still open.

Not gonna lie, there are better chinese buffets in this town. This one smells like an antique store and is very dated inside and out, and the food was mediocre at best.

I went in there to go eat today. And when I walk in, I see the lady at the counter, yelling at some other woman and making fun of her and stuff because she didn’t like her food or something like that.I don’t know exactly what was going on.But the lady that was running the place actually was yelling at the poor girl, and the girl was just sitting there quietly.I guess contemplating.I’m not sure and then I saw a roach, and that’s when me and my husband walked right back out.We will never eat here

First and last time me and my fiancé will be eating here. We wanted to try a new buffet well we shouldn’t have. Pulled into the parking lot questioning it already (but never judge a book by its cover). We got inside and it was fine our waitress was super sweet. Then we went to make our plates… they have the smallest selection I have ever seen at a buffet. The lo mein noodles tasted like cold butter noodles. The general Tao chicken was cold and chewy. They had no soups!! Which normally I get a cup of soup well none. That’s fine I found something else. EVERY TIME I tried something else to try it was cold and chewy ( and I am not a picky eater but today was a different story). After trying one plate with different foods on it I was done and ready to leave my fiancé only ate the jello. We go to leave and it’s almost $40 so I asked the lady to repeat herself because I didn’t hear her the first time. I hand her my card and she asked me repeatedly “why you mad at me” and I kept saying I’m not mad at you. Until she pushed me and I raised my voice and said I’m not freaking mad at you… I’m more disappointed than upset but people should be warned before going here. I only went because someone on social media was advertising saying it’s amazing you need to go before they shut down. My fault for trying something new.

As a visitor to Abilene for many years, we have dined at this buffet countless times as it was one of the best buffets in West Texas. Tragically, today we dined there and it has become the WORST! Right when we entered the dining area, there were 2 buckets in the middle of the entrance catching water from the leaking roof! There were several spots throughout the ceiling with visible water damage. Secondly, the carpet where the buffet was located was DISGUSTING! My shoes was sticking to the carpet!!! Thirdly, the food was horrible! It was stale, tasted like it was over 1 week old. Some of the meat dishes were cold, the rice was hard and nasty tasting. The noodles were soggy. I forced myself to take a couple of bites and just lost my appetite. We should have left as soon as we entered and saw those buckets catching ceiling water and there was hardly any customers there. After reading the comments on Facebook after we left, someone said the owner passed away 9 weeks ago, so that would explain why it went downhill so quick! We wasted $34 on food that was gross. Save your money!

Our server was friendly and stayed on top of the couple plates we had. That was the only good thing. The food is the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I only ate 1 or 2 bites of anything I tried. I have never left a buffet not full, until today. Plus the guards over the food looked disgusting (not just greasy steam from the food, but actual gunk). I will not be returning.

Came in after 12. Some of the food was kind of hard, but others were good. Still, the service was awesome. Staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was very positive

We had a group of ladies today. The service was great for a small restaurant at lunch rush. Was timely in bringing out our drink orders, served our soups with extra napkins, refilled drink glasses several times. Accommodated two late arrivals without a hitch while moving tables to seat them. We all had the lunch buffet. $12.30 for all you can eat with water to drink. Food was very good. I sampled almost everything on the hot food lines. The buffet lines were very clean. There was much to choose from on lines and lots of variety in fruit and desserts. What made this restaurant miss its mark was cleanliness. Being worn past it’s prime can be overlooked as long as it doesn’t feel dirty. But unfortunately, the tables were sticky, bathroom was not up to par, and the roof was leaking inside the dining room.

Love the food it is always so good. I did the buffet take home.
This time the General Tso’s Chicken was not good at all! The chicken was so over cooked I couldn’t eat it! The chicken seemed like it had been left from thr day before and re-cooked, it was so dark, stringy and no edible at all!
Everything else was perfect! First pictures are of my General Tso’s and what it looked like!
Last picture was some of the other food! Everything else again was perfect!!
