Great place, the private room was awesome, service was awesome, all the food came on time and no mistakes! We had 19 people in the group and it was a breeze. The only issue, which wasn’t really an issue but they do not split up the bill, your party has to figure is all out and pay their portion. The kicker! They only allow 4 transactions, cash or card is considered a transaction, luckily we all brought cash but it still took the group 40 minutes after we got the bill to calculate what everyone owed. Just me and the wife spent $450.

I tried this restaurant for the first time. I’ve been previously to the Troy location. I can say that it’s nice. The food was good. The sweet potatoes seem a little more moist at the Troy location but they were still good. The steak, salad and sizzling crab cakes were great! They are next to a parking garage which is great cause the street parking is slim. The staff was amazing and the manager showed us around to view rooms for private events. They do have stairs for some private dining but no elevator. Private dining is available downstairs too. Beautiful location. I’ll definitely be back.

Food: When I went I had a salad, which was great, tossed amazing so all the lettuce had flavor and the chips were on top. I had mashed potatoes and that was so buttery and flavorful. I had salmon and shrimp with a side of steamed spinach, all tasted so flavorful and good. My friend had steak and lobster, steak was good and nicely cooked. The spinach artichoke was also great. It was my birthday so I also go a nice mini/ large key lime pie cake. It was delicious but very very sweet ! I loved the look of all the food & presentation!
Service: Amazing! waiter was nice and we got to pick our own seat in bar area.
Atmosphere: quiet, relaxing, music not that loud.

Had a great experience at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. The chicken breast was flavorful, the Brussels sprouts were delicious, and the Lemon Drop cocktail was strong and tasty. The cheesecake was huge and perfect for dessert. Loved that they now offer a 3-course meal at a great, affordable price for the quality. Our server Mike was excellent.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. Food and staff were both amazing! Had a great selection of cocktails which were perfectly mixed . We both ended up getting the stuff chicken for dinner which was absolutely amazing! At the end of dinner, the waitress brought out a complementary dessert, which ended up being cheesecake. Would definitely recommend this place!

I visited Ruth’s Chris Ann Arbor on Valentine’s Day and was looking forward to a special evening, given the restaurant’s reputation and price point. While the food itself was solid, several aspects of the experience fell short of what I expect from a fine-dining establishment.

When we were seated, our table was noticeably wobbly, and there was a dirty napkin left on the floor nearby, which took away from the initial impression. During the meal, our waiter only checked on us once after our entrées were delivered. After we finished eating, he walked past our table multiple times without checking in, offering dessert, or asking if we needed anything else, which made us feel overlooked.

I also noticed that several guests were not following what I understood to be the established dress code for the restaurant, which affected the overall atmosphere of what is typically marketed as an upscale dining experience.

For a restaurant positioned as a premium dining experience—especially on Valentine’s Day—I expected more attention to detail, service, and ambiance. I hope this feedback is helpful, as I believe the location has the potential to deliver a much more refined and consistent experience.

I’ve officially broken up with Ruth’s Chris.

$165 later, I left date night with my husband having eaten steamed, unseasoned broccoli, four literal bites of lamb, and sparkling water. That was my “five-star steakhouse” dinner.

Meanwhile, my husband was living his best life with perfectly cooked sea bass—flaky, juicy, and topped with an amazing ginger sauce. The one bite he shared was so good I immediately said, “If we ever come back, I’m ordering that.”

But I stuck with my old favorite: the lamb chops. And this was my fourth attempt.

The first time, they were perfection—beautifully seasoned, tender, buttery, with that gorgeous pink center. Paired with a Mariflor Malbec, it was an amazing meal.

The second time, they came out well done. I sent them back… and they came back well done again. I ended up eating bread and asparagus. They gave me a coupon.

Trip #3 (a celebratory dinner), the lamb was again well done. I just ate it and didn’t complain. We received promotional envelopes for a future visit.

So that brings us to trip #4. We opened our promotional envelopes at the table and we both won a free desserts. Switch to ordering, I showed our server a photo of a medium lamb chop with a pink center and asked if mine could be cooked like that. She said yes.

When the food arrived, one chop was perfect—but the other two were overcooked (one well done, one medium-well). By the time the server checked on us, my husband had finished eating and I was left with a plate of lamb I couldn’t eat. When I said I wasn’t going to eat it, the plate was simply cleared.

A manager offered us one free dessert, which voided one of our dessert coupons, so we essentially traded one free dessert for another. We were still charged $65 for the uneaten entrée. To make matters worse, I’m on keto and couldn’t even have dessert.

After four attempts, I’m done chasing that first perfect lamb chop.

One star—because date night shouldn’t end with broccoli and disappointment.

I went here for lunch earlier this week and honestly it was a pretty decent experience. The place has a relaxed vibe and the staff was friendly without being over the top. My order came out in good time, and the food tasted fresh, nothing super fancy but definitely satisfying. The burger I got was cooked the way I asked, and the fries were crisp, which I always appreciate. Prices felt fair for what you get. I wouldn’t say it blew my mind, but I’d come back again if I’m in the area and want something simple and good.

Was there for an event. Grabbed a house cab from bar before… YIKES $17 for a glass of house wine..
Salad was huge, bread good. The entree was chicken and filet. Was impressed with both. Beef was perfect med rare and chicken wasn’t dry.
Staff was very polite
All that being said if I was paying for meal and drinks I wouldn’t go there, too pricey for what I can have at a local steakhouse
