When you walk in, you interpret a feeling of close-quarter quaintness. Homey interior and while we were looking where to sit, the boss man pointed to an open seat and we gravitated towards him immediately. Courteous service. We had to wait a little bit, but very understandable. Food was delicious and familiar. I felt emotion welling up, like driving through an old neighborhood after years of being driven. Beautiful customers. It didn’t matter what color, gender, or tax bracket, we were all there for the food and comfortable experience off our feet. Thank you for the ongoing consistency and the service of being a local favorite, for the young and the young at heart. We’ll see you next time.

Best Breakfast In The Nation! No where else does it like they do. Every meal comes out perfectly cooked, and grease free. It actually feels like you’re eating a hearty breakfast, unlike majority of breakfast diners. And I’ve never had such good hash browns. The shape and consistency is to die for. Every time I have came here, it’s always been consistent & I know exactly how the quality will come out. This place is the best. Very budget friendly also.

This is a one of a kind restaurant and Believe me everything’s home made and tastes delicious,, . And it’s just like going to your mom and dad’s or Grandpa’s house for a meal. The atmosphere is very comfortable with some older memorabilia on walls. Gives you that feeling of coziness? I highly recommend this place. I’ve lived in Eau Claire for 40 years and have never visited this, restaurant ,, But I recently have, and I am very impressed ! It’s definitely on my list for frequent visits. Because the soup is out of this world, and everything is so tasty !

Lovely little place. It had wonderful people and a really nice home-y feeling to it. I highly recommend it. My only issue is with this statue, as it seems highly reminiscent of Minstrel shows and Golliwog dolls.

My hubs and I stopped here to grab a quick bite. We were automatically seated even though it was busy which was nice. I got the ham and cheese with fries and a side salad and my hubs got the Philly cheese with fries. Both of the sammies were really good. Service was also pretty good. I gave this a 4 star because the salad was so basic. It was a hand full of the mixed lettuce you get in the grocery store in a bowl. No croutons, no cheese, no toms. It looked like their breakfast would be good too with big pancakes.

Was in town for the morning and stopped in here for breakfast! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, the prices were honestly fantastic, the atmosphere was laid back, and the service was top notch! Not sure why I have never been here before but if you’re in town, certainly make a stop to grab some of the best breakfast in Eau Claire! We had the meat lovers omelette, ham and cheese omelette, and the 2 eggs breakfast! All were delicious. The hashbrowns are amazing and worth the hype!

The food is awesome. Portion sizes are large; you definitely won’t leave hungry! Service has been great every time, food is a great value, and it’s a very comfortable, inviting atmosphere. This is our go-to breakfast spot whenever we are in Eau Claire. The steak and eggs is my favorite. Stop in! You’ll be happy you did!
