Really don’t know why McDonald’s is still around. It had been years since I was at a McDonald’s and we decided to bring the family here for a quick lunch. They have gotten worse. All ordering is done at the kiosk, it was out of printer paper, no staff up front to address the 20 unhappy customers. Food took over 25 minutes. Don’t know why people support McDonald’s. Will never go to a McDonald’s again. Poor service, slow service, expensive for fast food, and the food is not that good. Culver’s is a better option.

Hands down the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had and I’ve had some bad ones.
First, I sat at the speaker for three full minutes. Nothing. Thought maybe it was broken, so I backed up and tried the other one. Another three minutes . still nothing. Finally, I said “hello,” and it literally sounded like I woke the worker up from a nap. She answered like I’d just ruined her day before it even started, with an attitude that could curdle milk.
The car in front of us grabbed their food and snatched the bag like they’d just survived something traumatic. That should’ve been our sign to leave. Instead, we waited another 10 minutes for our order while the screen behind them blinked red the whole time, basically screaming “we’re behind and we know it.”
Then a guy finally handed us our drink — rough, like we’d personally offended him. We took a sip… it was straight syrup. We said, “Hey, this doesn’t taste right, can we get another?” He said “no,” walked away, came back and said “I mean, I can check the machines, but that’s it,” then walked off again and never returned. We sat there for another five minutes waiting, just staring at that red blinking screen like it was mocking us.
When the food finally came, it wasn’t even what we ordered. The fries were cold, the drink was undrinkable, and the whole experience felt like a bad joke. The staff looked tired, annoyed, and completely over it.
This place needs a full reset . new management, new crew, maybe even new speakers that actually work. If you enjoy waiting forever for cold food and zero effort, you’ll love it here. If not, do yourself a favor and drive literally anywhere else.

This McDonald’s used to be good but now it’s complete garbage. Orders are always wrong without fail. Rude staff and managers who seem to go the extra mile to ignore their customers. They prioritize the drive through to the point there’s customers in the lobby waiting over 30 minutes for a 6 piece nugget and a value fry. This location is dirty like they never wipe off the tables and counters or mop the floor. I stood and watched as the person working expo handled money, went right back to bagging orders and they even prepared my fries all without washing their hands. Cross contamination might be worth a call to the health department. I will not be coming back to this location or any of this franchises locations.

My food was absolutely disgusting.
I asked for my whole order to be fresh, I got told to go to the lot #1, not even 1 minute later my food came out and it was more than 6 items that i asked to be fresh so I got home and notice there were stickers “cook to order” on most of the items but they still looked and felt old & hard. 0/10. Y’all need to do better!!! SMH

I’m not sure what you guys have changed in the past 3 to 6 months but this place is really gone down from being one of the best McDonald’s in ROCKFORD to possibly all the words due to the service

Pulled in at 4:40am and the staff never came to the speaker to take the order. Came back 20 minutes later still nothing. I guess the don’t want my business or the 4 other cars that were there either.

There is always at least a 12-15 minute wait, even for the most basic orders. The staff is rude and avoid looking or talking to you. I was in line waiting for a simple order and even when I called out to the staff, they ignored me until I started yelling telling them to just give me my money back that id rather go anywhere else!

I ordered today. Had to go back twice. Ordered a double cheeseburger no onions, a large decaf coffee, a large iced caramel coffee, a large fry, and a 6 piece nugget. Had to go back because they have me a medium decaf. Then had to go back again because onions were on the cheeseburger, and now I get home. Instead of a 6 piece nugget i got 4. I’m trying to call and no answer. Called 5 times now to fix this situation. Because I want what I paid for!
