I had a wonderful experience dining here. One of my best Indian Restaurant. This is not my first visit!! The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish tasted fresh and well-prepared. Staffs are amazing. Highly recommend.

Excellent Indian food that’s authentic and freshly prepared. Great service . Good location and easy to reach. Both South and North Indian dishes are available. Pani Puri, Idly, Ramali Roti, dosa, bengan bartha were excellent . Highly recommend it since it has a huge vegetarian and vegan menu.

The chicken tandoori was outstanding, bursting with flavor and perfectly moist. The jeera rice was rich, buttery, and balanced with just the right amount of cumin. However, the raita was thin and bland, the sauce lacked creaminess, and the naan was disappointingly flat rather than light and fluffy.

This is our second trip to Panamá City, and we decided to give “The Raj” a try this time and I’m glad we did.
Their food is probably an unexpected surprise that we didn’t expect in Panamá City., as their Daal Makhani is probably the best we had in a while.
Veg Biryani was decent though made out of long grained rice, and we expected Basmati Rice – and probably that was too much to expect.
Their naans just as authentic as they can get. We will definitely order food from this place again!

The Raj is a place where you can get a taste of Indian food in Panama City. The service was fine, and the food was decent. However, the portions, especially of rice, were very small. Also, the prown masala lacked the inidisn spices, and there was a strong taste of tomatoe paste. The peshawari bread was very tasty.

I am really disappointed with this food. I don’t know how people give good reviews for this restaurant. I ordered through uber eats and ordered for chettinad fish fry, chicken chukka, fish curry and basmati rice.
I have attached the food picture. Fish fry and chicken chukka varuval was the worst. Both fries looks like gravy. I was so much disappointed. I have attached the pictures and I spent US$60. Waste of money.
Pls don’t order from this restaurant

Great Indian restaurant with great tasting food and nice ambience.. 4 of us from Atlanta we’re looking for a good Indian restaurant. Our tour guide recommended this restaurant and other reviews were good as well. We ordered Lassis (Mango & Sweet), Maracuya Juice, Maharaja Dosa, Masala Dosa, Veg. Biryani, veg Hakka Noodles, Pista & Malai Kulfi.. Mango Lassi was really good.. Sweet Lassi was okay. Both Dosa’s were great with good Sambar and Chutneys.. Veg Biryani was great and tasty.. Veg. Hakka noodles were okay. We also though Kulfi’s were just okay .. not what we expected.. Service was great and place was nice/clean. Highly recommend this place as a must eat when in Panama.

One of the few Indian restaurants in the city. Food was decent but not authentic. Also, it seemed to be bit pricey as well. I tried their veg biryani, dahi vada , dosa and nasal chai. All tasted pretty decent. The sambar and chutneys for dosa dint taste that great. Sambar was bland and chutney was cold. Service and ambience were great! If you are lucky to have Indian food then can definitely give a try!

Went with a friend to try this place. Quality of food was excellent. Really enjoyed our meal. Service was average and prices are quite high, but in line with other more upscale restaurants in Panama.
