Awesome, authentic Chinese food!
We just moved here from Cambridge and were hoping to find some great local places- and we loved our lunch here! The ma po tofu definitely could’ve packed more of mala punch, but the sichuan shredded beef and spicy wontons were excellent!

We usually order door dash weekly but the in house experience was best for the pea leaves and fish with Napa cabbage! Spicy!

The food was good, though not quite as great as the one near my home. Still, I really enjoyed the meal with my family and a friend. The restaurant felt a bit dark for my taste, I personally prefer brighter spaces.

Lunch was ok and seemed a little chaotic. Food would randomly come out and not all together. No real complaints. Food was ok.

Best Sichuan I’ve ever tasted. The drinks are well priced. The food is authentic. The vibe is welcoming. The staff is friendly. The seating is comfy. This place is a definition of 10/10.

My friend who lives here comes here all the time. So my coworkers and I tried it and it was great. I was very happy they had snow pea shoots.

Got take out tonight and it was gross. Everything tastes either old or overcooked
Poo poo platter is nasty.
If you want good fresh food right across the street is the Dumpling house. It’s fantastic.

-Smoky hot shredded chicken with cayenne pepper $17.50 always our favorite, but lately heat level is just not the same..
-Seafood and vegetable with sizzling rice $21.95 another favorite dish, hard to find at other chinese restaurants these days. Portion got much smaller though.
-Service was always a problem with rude servers to a point where we’d rather takeout than dine in. Was somewhat better this time we dined in. What a shame..

It was very good in 15yrs ago. I came back from Japan, expecting the same quality. I was so disappointed this time with the Mabo-tofu, which was no spicy at all, hot and sour soup too…

Sichuan Gourmet delivers exactly what fans of this bold and fiery cuisine are looking for — the food is authentically prepared with genuine Sichuan flavors, the right level of numbing spice, and dishes that show a real understanding of the regional cuisine. The kitchen is clearly the strength here and is the main reason to visit. Service and atmosphere are both average and fairly no-frills, which is typical of many authentic Chinese restaurants. Don’t let that put you off though — the food more than makes up for it.
