Great experience overall at Devon Seafood. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the mixed grilled seafood, which was fresh and nicely prepared, and the flavors were very good. The oysters were especially fresh and very tasty—we really liked them. The only small issue was that the potatoes on the side were a bit too salty for our taste. Other than that, everything was excellent and we really enjoyed the dinner. I would definitely come back again.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Oakbrook Terrace. Our server Julius was wonderful. Our drink glasses and water glasses were never empty because of Julius. He brought out delicious biscuits before our meal and made sure he brought more out when the plate was empty. We started out with a Caesar salad and wedge salad. The wedge salad had a tarragon dressing which was delicious. For our entree we had the stuffed salmon and shrimp scampi with bucatini both were excellent. Highly recommend Devon Seafood and Steak and Make sure you ask for Julius!!

Upon arriving I was greeted they was very nasty and ask if I wanted a booth or the bar. The bartender was very sweet and nice . He the reason I rated high. He let me taste before picking my wine very attentive kept checking every 10-20 mins.
The food the gumbo was good with a good spice , the bread with sweet with butter
Lobster roll was fresh little to no seasoning with corn i think it was throwing it off.
Seafood platter the salmon was extra dry and burnt with little no seasoning
The mashed potatoes had chunks in it but they wasnt bad
Shrimps was fire with a good seasoning & asparagus
Scallops couldve been cooked longer overall 6.5/10

Wow!!! This location is a must must have to try out. The food is beyond amazing!! Soooooo delicious!!! everything we had was mouth watering!! It’s very cute inside. the service was above fantastic!! There’s just nothing I can say that would make this place more wonderful!!!. We will definitely be back many times.

Devon never disappoints. From the food to the drinks to the service all around it is always a great experience. I ordered the poke tacos, parmesean crusted whitefish and the velvet chocolate cake with a lavender drop to drink. The food was absolutely perfect and the lavender drop was beautiful to the sight and tasted absolutely amazing. My server Julius went above and beyond, making sure everything was perfect. He was extremely attentive and informative of the menu items. I will definitely be returning.

Service started a bit slow, but it started to get busy right after we got seated. Calamari for appetizer-it was very good and plenty to share. Lobster bisque was tasty, I would probably order it again. Seared scallops for one of our entrees was cooked perfect and sat on top of amazing roasted street corn. The wasabi on top of the pork belly surprised me a little bit because it wasn’t mentioned on the menu. All-around tasty dish, the pork belly was a nice touch. The other entree was surf and turf with scallops. You get the same amount of scallops and they’re the same size as getting them alone as an entree. But you also get a 6 oz filet with it and two sides. It’s a great deal and ours was cooked perfectly at medium rare, but could’ve used salt. Whipped potatoes was one of the sides and they were cold. The other side was twice baked potatoes and I did not care for them at all. They just had a very odd taste and smell that I could not get on board with. Pineapple Martini was our choice for cocktail, this one did not hit right. Overall I’d like to come back and try all new dishes and cocktails, very nice atmosphere!

I had an amazing experience at Devon Seafood +Steak. The food was absolutely incredible everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. On top of that, the service was truly top notch.
Our waiter, Ismael, was outstanding. He was attentive, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. He really elevated the whole dining experience.

My girlfriends and I had the most amazing lunch at Devon Seafood Grill in Oak Brook. From start to finish, the experience was top-tier.
The restaurant graciously allowed us to reserve a private room before opening, and the rate was very reasonable—especially considering the level of service we received. It felt exclusive, relaxed, and perfect for celebrating Galentine’s Day.
Joshua was our private waiter and bartender, and I truly cannot say enough good things about him. He catered to every single need with such professionalism and kindness. We brought decorations and props for our celebration, and he even helped clean spills and cleaned the props without hesitation—above and beyond service in every sense.
The drinks were delicious and perfectly made, and the food did not disappoint. We all ordered the mixed grill, and it was absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

Before I get too critical I want to say our server Josh was really great. That said, my wife and I came to Devon for our anniversary after we received a gift card. Very nice atmosphere to the place. Our food however was to be blunt, just not good. We ordered grilled calamari and it was basically raw. Very undercooked and still a bit slimy. My wife did enjoy her lobster bisque soup. For dinner I got the rainbow trout and she did the surf and turf with scallops. The fish was cooked very well but there was no seasoning, the lemon didn’t add much. The asparagus on both of our plates also had no seasoning and was undercooked. Her steak and scallops were cooked well but tasted like they had dropped the salt container on them. They did end up not charging us for the calamari but for the experience we had in or anniversary they should have covered the meal. We won’t be returning. Based on other reviews maybe we were in on a bad night but we still would have expected better for the price.
