Very neat place, kind of farmer/miner vibe. Food was good. Homestyle buffet, salad bar, dessert bar. Great staff. They were very attentive and kept our drinks full and plates cleared.

This place has the best food and it always has a nice selection and is fresh, hot, and stays filled. The staff is friendly and attentive. The only small annoyance I had was when we went yesterday, the music was SO loud! I don’t want to have to yell over my plate to talk to the people at my table. I don’t mind music, but it doesn’t need to be the focal point of my dining experience. It should be heard gently in the background. It was even louder in the bathrooms! I felt like I was in a nightclub. Otherwise, it was delicious and a fairly good experience! I definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere and service at this establishment. Tried the buffet with many options to choose from. The food was great no complaints at all. The waitress was outstanding checking on us constantly if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great experience. Will say the only issue was that you have to pay for the crab legs even if you do not get any. Just wished it would have been mentioned before hand on the price for it.

I had some of the best fried shrimp I’ve ever had FOR LUNCH! The selection of food is overwhelming. It’s better than 99% of Thanksgiving day spreads.
You better bring an appetite tho. It’s $25 per person but you eat all you can eat. Please, please, only get what you can eat. I know it costs a lot for food and keeping waste down helps them control the price.

First time here! It was a very beautiful place! I love that they display their love for Jesus and play christian music!
Very good atmosphere! Very big nice buffet! Great salad bar! Loved the whole experience. Super nice attentive waitress too! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT ALL! I live a long ways away but if I am ever close by I WILL STOP IN AGAIN!! ❤️

I did a walk in and ordered a pound of catfish with an eight ounce cup of tartar sauce. Everything was delicious. They cooked it fresh and brought it out to me in the front lobby. An estimate 12-15 min wait for my hot food. Cost around $16.

I have traveled HWY 49 for the past 35 years many times, and this was my first time to try Berry’s in MAGEE. It was EXCELLENT! We dined around 11:30 on a Saturday. The buffets include a salad buffet – everything you could want to make a green salad, potato salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, cocktail shrimp, fruit salad…..The vegetable buffet offers all kinds of cooked vegetables (potatoes, greens, black eyed peas, Lima beans, sweet potatoes, squash, fried okra, succotash…& the vegetable beef stew with yeast rolls is great! The meat buffet offers seasoned baked catfish, fried chicken & fried chicken livers, ribs that melt in your mouth, fried shrimp, baked chicken, pork chops…the servers are very friendly & available, and the restaurant is very clean. Service was excellent. Catfish was great. Deserts were ok, not great. Meal is overpriced in my opinion, over $30 each for lunch. I was expecting more seafood, I was told they did put some fried shrimp out. I had Catfish, boiled shrimp, hush puppies, liver. It was 4 out of 5 stars, The desserts were ok 3 out of 5. Not homemade. Banana pudding needed to have more flavor.

Food was really good but it wasn’t hot or as warm as it should be when coming from the kitchen. Although, we had placed our order from the menu, our steamed shrimp came off the buffet. The same waitress comp’d a soda ($2.50) for being military, but the lady at the register gave us a true military discount (thank you). As you can see in the picture, we boxed up alot of our meal to reheat and eat later at home.
