Very tasty food and friendly staff. It’s getting busy around midday, so you know it’s good. Very enjoyable place with generous servings. It’s one of those menus where it’s hard to chose just one thing. Only 20 bucks for a great meal if you have a soft drink.

So my waiter suggested something different on the menu from what I was trying to order and gave me exactly what I wanted to a T. As im not easy to just give in being a picky eater I had him explain the preparation in each dish and in the end he was right. I was super thankful in this moment cuz I got to enjoy my meal right away without something being wrong what ever it may be.
The mango margarita literally taste like a fresh mango!
I got the combo meal with two chicken enchiladas with pork green chili and rice ! And cheese dip to put on the rice and eat with the chips! So good..gota try!

Quesadilla was uncut, has melted cheese on top instead of inside, as well as all the salad toppings on top making it soggy.
Street tacos were saturated in oil.
Fajitas were essentially steamed and wet, and meat was very tough and unseasoned.
Staff is apathetic. No offer for discount.

This is easily the best Mexican food in Boulder and great prices too. The green chili is nice and spicy and just delicious. A favorite lunch destination for myself and many others I work with. Can’t go wrong here.

Been going to Efrain’s for almost 20 years. There was a time during college that I had a chimichanga with the salad and extra green chili, every single day, for weeks. I moved 6 years ago and recently stopped at their new location during a visit to Colorado. The food was exactly as remembered. The same wonderful staff was also still there. Pure nostalgia. I will always love Efrain’s.

We LOVE Efrain’s! They always hit the spot with their delicious fajitas, tostadas, and enchiladas! My husband and I eat here once a week, and it never disappoints. It can be pretty busy on a Friday or Saturday night, but we’ve never waited all that long on busier evenings. The service is always top-notch and everyone is very friendly and kind. I also love that they keep the chips and salsa coming! I absolutely love their Boulder Margarita, and they have about 15+ different selections of margaritas to choose from so everyone is happy! My favorite meal is the chicken fajitas. You will not be disappointed-they give you a massive portion with lots of delicious guacamole, beans, rice, and sour cream to enjoy your fajitas with, which I really enjoy. Best fajitas in Boulder hands down. My husband loves their blue corn enchiladas. I would also like to mention that they are gluten free conscious, and have many items that are 100% gluten free to choose from! This is a Boulder gem of a restaurant!

Visited this restaurant on our way back from Rocky Mountain National Park. I thought this going to be mediocre food. Easy access from road, staffs are so nice, very neat place. We ordered Efrain ( super delicious, must try, very big plate), beef burrito ( spicy and delicious, they can adjust the spice), beef chimichanga ( best one we had), vegetarian taco( so tasty, spicy lovers ask for more, their sauce is very tasty). This is one of the best Mexican food we had, its not Tex-Mex, if you are passing through Denver or Boulder definitely try this place. Not at all expensive, quantity is really good. We will definitely try for our next visit.

This place is an old favorite for me. Probably my tenth visit. Always get the Casa Noble margaritas, but have tried plenty of the menu items. Their chile verde is a personal favorite, but chicken or beef enchiladas definitely deserve a mention. There’s always a wait but they’re pretty efficient in their management of people waiting, and very attentive once you’re seated. A bit loud, even on the enclosed patio.

Nice new location. Enjoyed a nice meal. Avocado appetizer could be better. The spicy pork green chili was not spicy! That was disappointing. Hope someone at the restaurant reads this review and fixes the issues. I love Efrain’s ! ❤️
