Forgot to post this from a couple months back but felt like it needed to be done. Horse and Cow never disappoints always super friendly staff great food great prices. Food and drinks always come quick. The ladies who run tables are always very sweet and polite. I did have a question however, is it standard practice for you guys to deny vertical IDa even if they’re valid and not expired? I only ask because the last time I came in with my brother and he’s almost 22 and because of his vertical ID the server said she was unable to serve him. We’re not mad just thought it was different never had that issue. Otherwise experience as a whole was amazing as always. Keep up the great work!

Got “boneless wings” for $19. Got served frozen chicken nuggets. I just set them aside and when asked if they were OK, i responded. Thought I may have been served food you make here. I could go buy frozen nuggets. They said “we will take care of that”. They took $3.80 off. Thanks

We were there during the BlackBerry Festival, and the restaurant was extremely busy. Wait staff was working exceptionally hard and with all the demands she still checked in on us regularly.
Food was fine, we all had a burger, tots and onion rings were over cooked.
I’d be willing to go back and try again when they weren’t so overwhelmed, and would bet the food would be of a higher quality.
Vibe was cool with all the ship paraphernalia and Photographs.

I need a place like this in Dallas. My family enjoy a great meal . Simple good testing American food with a warm fun and great atmosphere. The vibe of military appreciation and memorabilia of submarine is interesting.

Stopped into Horse and Cow for wings and beer this afternoon. We all got something different, wings come in bone-in and boneless, I found the boneless to be very dense and on the hard side, the bone-in wings were as expected. There were at least 30 beers on tap. There was only one server in the main room and outside seating area, so service was understandably impacted. Definitely worth a stop in, the history and imagery on the walls is fantastic.

Late nite Naval military themed restaurant/bar in downtown Bremerton with a lot of Naval memorabilia that is home also to an interesting bartender. First time visiting it was packed but people were leaving so we sat down on the table that the people had just left and the bartender Kat (who i was warned about) yelled at us saying itll be a while before i clean your table and get you service. Didnt faze us since we went barhopping and most places dont serve food So we yelled back no problem and waited. Wasnt in a rush. She came back eventually, cleaned up the table and took our drink and food order. The food considering its Bremerton isnt bad, their steak, burgers, and fish n chips are good for their price. They look short staffed with one waitress in the front and the bartender in the backside. Went here about 4 times since its slim pickings late nite out here Seen a bunch of reviews bashing Kat but thats how she operates….so be forwarned

Cool place. Food was nothing special, normal bar food with some items on the higher side of pricing. There was only one server that we saw in the front area where we sat, so service could have been quicker. But no fault on the server she was great and as attentive as she could be with how busy the place was.

Went in for 1 beer, which I intended to drink out front with a smoke. Wasn’t allowed to order a drink from the bar bc I HAD to order from the server out front. I get what the bartender was trying to do…..not take tip money from the server out front. I ended up leaving, so nobody got a tip and the business not only lost a sale, but I doubt I will ever go back. Plenty of other bars within walking distance.

Initial service was slow because it was a busy Saturday night, but our server was nice, and the food came out quickly. Reuben sandwich was my first choice, but the oven was broken, so I had to pick something else. The burger looked good, but it was pretty tasteless, which was unfortunate. The bathroom (ladies) was clean, so that is a plus!

Went here on a Monday. Not busy. Service was excellent. Please check menu as online menu is wrong. I wanted the French dip but they no longer carry it. Waitress suggested steak sandwich with au jus. Had with cheddar not swiss and no mayo but au jus. It came with grilled mushrooms and onions. I substituted onion rings for fries. Bun was slightly toasted. Steak was actual cut up steak medium rare. Large chunks. Sandwich was fantastic. And rings were crispy and delicious. Hubby had calzone. No riccata cheese so weird for me. Garlic Parmesan sauce was not heated. He had veggies but I don’t like green peppers but he loved it. Good size and baked perfectly. They offered 15% off $50 or more if you pay cash so we got a brownie and ice cream dessert for like $2 more. Very good deal. We took it home. But tried brownie. It was warm and delicious. Highly recommend
