Sleepy Bee Café in Oakley is easily one of the best breakfast spots in Cincinnati. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, lively, and welcoming. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy taking care of their customers. The food is the real standout. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The Bee Cakes are a must-try — fluffy, flavorful, and perfect with their syrup. I also loved their breakfast bowls and fresh juices; everything was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Service was quick, even during a busy morning when I got there, and my meal came out exactly as ordered. The vibe, the décor, and the overall experience make it the kind of place you want to come back to regularly. If you’re looking for a great brunch spot in Oakley, Sleepy Bee is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Delicious food and friendly staff.

I am in Cincinnati for work, and as a solo traveler, I appreciated how accommodating they were with a seat at the bar. The barista was very friendly and accommodating.
Everything I ate and drank (iced oat milk maple latte with real maple syrup, the red berry smoothie, and my 2 eggs breakfast with goetta and extra bacon) was extremely delicious. I tried goetta for the first time (recommended to try it crispy) and, while I was skeptical when ordering it, it was SO good. Highly recommend trying goetta here if you are visiting Cincinnati. I would have eaten two!

I paid $26 for my breakfast.

Highly recommend this quaint and delicious breakfast spot.

This place was AWESOME. We were on our way to TN and needed to stop for lunch and a break. It is important to us to find the local gems that do their best to server local food. This place served local, healthy, and clean! Super score in my book.

And it was SO CUTE, they had so many awesome decorations. The food was FANTASTIC (I got the ember avo toast, my bf got the avi scramble), our coffee was delicious too! I even bought one of their shirts that says “No bees, no food, no us.” Super short, super powerful and true.

Go support them, you won’t regret it! Decently priced for clean eating too! Thank you! 🙂

We visited as a group of 3 and shared all of our dishes. We ordered the chorizo scramble, cinnamon roll pancakes, and forager scramble with avocado. All were absolutely delicious! The decor and theming is really cute – centered around saving the bees (hence the name). The service was great – fast and friendly! I would highly recommend checking this place out for breakfast!

Went to Sleepy Bee for a late breakfast on Sunday… we made a reservation and got in quickly, ordered our meals and the food was tasty, good, served quickly. I also loved their coffee- and I’m pretty picky when it comes to a good coffee… received the bill and was pleased at the prices!
Good execution, good food, served hot and fast in a nice relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend this breakfast place.

Awesome breakfast place with great coffee and delicious food. I ordered the cinnamon roll buttermilk pancakes with a side of goetta, and my wife got a breakfast platter. Also got an iced caramel latte and a hot vanilla latte. Didn’t take long for any of it to come out. Portions were large. Service was excellent, restaurant was clean, and the prices are not bad at all. This is a great spot for breakfast or brunch and I will definitely go back!

Four because they brought out the wrong side order, but wasn’t happy when I asked to take it back, and then charged me and sent out the other item after I said I was good. Otherwise it was a good location

Food was a 3.5 it was good diner food with vegan options with smaller serving size than many diners. Price high for a regular diner but fit the general area that looks to be exploding with development. Best thing I had was goetta. It was a loose sausage like patty made of pork beef oats pepper and bay leaves (I think). It is apparently a local dish and I really enjoyed it. Gluten free pancake was ok, but normal cakes looked great. Really cool vibe in building and area. Well worth a visit.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly table staff (Sarah), and delicious food.

We visited on a Saturday, it was VERY well attended. We left a phone number, received a text about “ready table”, and were promptly seated.

Our food was hot, fast, and delicious. Their house (brewed) coffee was very nice also.

If visiting the area again (very likely), we would return…no question.

Review:

I recently visited this cozy little breakfast spot that feels like a classic diner, offering the comfort of familiar, hearty meals. The atmosphere is charming in its simplicity—nothing flashy, but warm and welcoming. The menu offers all the usual suspects: eggs, bacon, pancakes, and the like. While there isn’t anything particularly unique or adventurous about the food, it’s well-prepared and hits the spot for a no-frills breakfast.

The service was excellent—quick, attentive, and friendly. It’s the kind of place where you can feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with solid breakfast fare, this is it. Nothing groundbreaking, but you’ll leave satisfied.
