Just avoid this place. The sausage was clearly Ekrich Polska Kielbasa. The potato salad was whipped into oblivion except the big raw onion dices. The pinto beans were clearly out of a can, but if not, this means they do absolutely no seasoning. At all. I had to dump salt in to make them taste like anything. They forgot to include sauce in my delivery order. The bread was 20% toasted.
I don’t know what happened to Risckys, but just avoid this location. Perhaps others are better.

I hadn’t been here in a couple of months, and it looks like things have changed. They’re getting a bit stingy with the food now. No more pickles or onions unless you pay extra. They used to have them available by the soda machine for anyone to grab. Kinda disappointing to see the service go backwards like that.

We had Riscky’s cater our company Thanksgiving lunch today for 160 employees in two separate deliveries. From service to food, it was an exceptionally great experience from start to finish. I did a lot of research prior to booking, and you can’t beat the caliber and variety of food you receive for the affordability. I worked directly with Allen Turner and received incredible customer service. Allen was impressively patient, accommodating, and responsive to all of my communication. Thank you, Allen, and thank you Riscky’s for making our company Thanksgiving celebration such a wonderful, easy experience!

Discovered this place by accident and we are so pleased we found them! They’ve been in business for 97 years and are family owned. I had the burnt ends, and green beans, which were delicious! My husband had a chopped beef sandwich, which was excellent. Jody, the manager, was so welcoming and helpful with menu suggestions. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was decent. I got the potato salad, Jalepno sausage, ribs, fries, and beans. The fries were good, and the meat was decent. For me, the potato salad tastes like grease (I know it sounds weird). The baked beans taste like something that I can’t quite put my finger on it. I love potato salad and beans, so I was salty when those items were a 1/10 do not recommend. Though it wasn’t the best for me, I still encourage people to go to form their own opinion

Good food. I had the 2 meat which comes with 3 sides. I got the Sausage and Brisket and ordered fries, fried artichoke, and potatoe salad. Comes with toast. I wasn’t a fan of the potato salad, each person likes it a different way, but the fries and artichoke was great. Brisket was awesome. Sausage wasn’t bad. Ordered a drink as well. Cost was under $25 including tax & tip.
Lots of antiques to look at and talk about. Very unique pieces.

I was cruising down Azle looking for a spot to get some quick lunch. I saw Riscky’s and recognized the name. I was excited to pull up. I went inside and was impressed with the different style of decor and was salivating over getting some good Q. I ordered the Friday special, sliced brisket with 2 sides and a small drink for 13.99. Girl at the counter did her job. I got some sweet tea and didn’t wait long for my name to be called. Then I looked at my plate…. About 2-3 tablespoons of so called potato salad which was just potato salad flavored mashed potatoes as the only thing I need to chew was the diced onion and pickles. Looked at my Mac-n-cheese and it looked like the boxed store brand but tasted worse and had no texture whatsoever. The star of the plate was a few carefully sliced cuts of brisket. Whoever sliced it was a magician cause as soon as I attempted to pick it up it just crumbled. Dry and bland which is surprising considering they sell seasonings there. I decided to make a sandwich out of it as the bread had more moisture than the brisket itself. I can probably microwave a better brisket.
Update: Marketing must be tired of using the same response over and over by now. Yes you missed the mark, no I won’t be back.

Dinners are served with your choice of several sides. Very good sliced brisket. Potato salad was just the way I like it, with a lot of mustard. Staff is super friendly. I had Texas fries to start, a plateful of goodness. Then onto the all you can eat beef ribs. I didn’t quite get a slice of raw onion it was more like a small thin strip, the coleslaw was spot on perfect and the jalapeño siding with four ribs. I went through four rounds of additional ribs with some being perfect and some being so so, but all in all they met what I was hoping for.
